I picked up the phone and answered the call“It’s Ana’s assistant, Rose” I said to Clara who’s with me after hearing the voice of the person I was speaking to. I could hear her voice shaking as she narrated an incident in Ana’s salon, that a woman attacked and shot at Ana inside the salon.“What? Is she okay?” I asked over the phone and Clara looked at me surprised“We are at the hospital” Rose said “The one closest to the salon” She added"What about the shooter?" I asked"We called the police and they took her away" she replied“Alright, I will be coming over now” I said to her before ending the call“She said some woman shot at Ana’s in her saloon” I said to Clara who has been waiting to know what's going on then I got up to go dress up. After a while I came out ready to leave then Clara requested to go with me and I accepted. We rushed into the hospital like we were been chased by a ghost“We are here to see Ana” I said to the nurse at the front desk“And you are?” The nurse aske

It was around 10:30pm when I got to the club, I put on a sexy gown, tried to look my best and have a good time. When I got to the entrance of the club there was a queue, I was asked to stand outside with the others because some persons already rented the club and doesn’t want anyone inside the club without their permission.“Bun you can let me into the club, you know that right, you know me and I am a regular here” I said to the bouncer at the door to the club“No ma’am, I can’t, I am under strict instructions to abide by the guest list” Bun said to me in an uncomfortable manner While I was still busy begging Bun to let me into the club, this young man came over, whispered something into Bun’s ear and he opened the door for the young man“Why don’t you come in with me” The Man said to meHe is tall, mascular charming and has this evil sexy smile. I wouldn't have gone in with a stranger under normal circumstances but I really need to get in there. I didn't dress up and come all the wa

After work, I checked my phone to see Ben's text. He texted me the address and time 'deVuage bar, 9pm'. It's a popular and very expensive bar in the city, just my type. 'Good job Ben' I muttered to myself the I packed up and left. I drove home straight to freshen up and get dressed before coming out to meet him. I picked out a short red dress, it was a bit tight so it helped bring out my curves and my boobs were all in the way. I looked at myself in the mirror and felt satisfied, I did a little makeup, put on some perfume and was ready to move out. When I arrived at deVuage bar, I saw him already seated and waiting looking all charming, he was drinking alcohol from his glass. I stood there and studied him for a while before I went over to the table"I hope I didn't keep you for long" I said while sitting down"No you did not and even if you did, it's worth it. You look amazing" he complimented"Thanks, you look good yourself" I replied blushing "Just good?" He asked gesturing at his

The next day, I prepared and left for work. When I arrived, my secretary came to me and informed me that there was a meeting going on with the partners and it might be for me, she also said I was needed there. I wondered what the fuss is about, I went into my office to drop my purse before heading to the conference room. On stepping in my eyes met Liam's and his wife was by his side. My heart skipped and pounded so loud in my ear. What is the meaning of this? What were they doing here, both of them? Whatever this is, I know it's not good news, it's trouble."Well, hello miss Mia, how nice of you to join us. We have been waiting for you" Ms. Jones said with a smirk on her face"Have a seat Miss Mia" Edward my boss saidI quietly sat down, waiting for the ticking bomb to blow up. I convinced Liam to go home and make nice with his wife so that I can keep my job not for them to join forces and come here to still get my fired and disbarred. Was this about yesterday when he saw me and Ben

She happened to drag you by the arm down to my workplace? And so you did?” I asked him calmly“I had to, because she’s watching me, she tracking my email, watching my every move and the Private investigator, the bitch is watching me” He replied“If that is the case then why did you come here? have you not gotten me into enough trouble as it is?” I yelled at him then there was silence for a minute“Mia,
