Allie's POV There was an unusual awkward muteness after Aaron left. I exhaustively supervised Mrs Smith as she tries to use body language to denote a message to her husband whose mind comes off to be in his own realm. "Congratulations, Allie," Mr Smith said profoundly. He consciously inflates his eyes to meet mine with a soft smile. "To be honest, I had invariably hoped you would admit things like this to us. It kinda elaborates how habitable you are around us." he divulged, gaping at me passionately. His words warmth my heart, but his expression earlier was far unpredictable for this to be his trepidation. I skimmed at him intensely, he definitely has a hidden reason. He glanced back at me, eyebrows stretched in query for my response to his statement. When he detected I wasn't trying to let out any reply, he said, "Allie, I. sincerely desire happy life for you. Although, I was kinda worried during your teenage years and premature twenties. '' he hung back, but his sta

Allie's POV Aaron race dangerously, risking through every tiny space among the cars on the road. It went on for minutes until my body couldn't take the rough path. "Aaron!" I hollered, at the top of my voice, breathing heavily at the same time trying to secure my regular tempo of breathing. He turned over to the side of the road immediately, staring at me in an expression which is close to concern "Are you alright?" he requested, stretching a spare bottled water to me. I stared at him weirdly still not competent to voice out. I gape at the surrounding, God knows the place looks odd. Apart from the sounds from the few cars passing on the road, it was silent until the cops car and two motorbikes parked at our back. "Damn…" he cursed, punching the steering wheel. "Just stay in the car" he ordered, removing his seat belt. "I could be of help." I protested, gearing to come out too."Those motorbikes are paparazzi. You know what I mean, don't you? Just stay. I will

Allie's POV"Hunn. What are you talking about? " I inquired, eyebrows creased in confusion while I poured out the wine into a glass cup for the two of us. "It's nothing. I just know it's a great opportunity for me. You know, it was a one-time proposal which she accepted immediately""How is Royal related to that?" I asked curiously, picking another chicken. "She rejected them multiple times, although she has now accepted. It's a big deal for him to agree at once," he said. "Yeah, it is. Congratulations to us!" I exclaimed, motioning my hand for a cheer. We went to the balcony and engaged in random dialogues and chats. After some time, we transferred inside and we binge-watched my favourite movies for hours while in each other embrace. It was close to three o'clock when I slept off. I woke up to find myself on a soft king-sized bed. I stayed on it to awaken my muscles. I stood up to ease myself into the restroom. When I came out, I found Austin with my phone. He threw it on the

Allie's POV His tightened palm loosened around the spoon when he became relaxed. And Immediately, his face went blank and pale. "Everyone does have nightmares, Allie. It's a characteristic of mankind. It isn't a new thing." he expropriated, and continued eating his food. In a way, his statements shunned me from saying any more sentences regarding it. I got the message and let it be. I shelved around till he was done with his breakfast. While he stood up with the plate in his hand, he said "Someone will be coming over today. If you need anything, Richard will be at the domestic workers quarters. It is located at the back of the mansion"I know. "Allie," he continues "I know how much convenience I must have caused you, regarding you coming to my aid often especially about last night""What about last night?... You""I promise not to disturb nor worry you anymore. Let it end there, no more argument." he asserted, leaving no room for argument as he has proclaimed, but of course I woul

Allie's POVHe didn't respond for a few seconds, and I was getting gauche with the silence. "Please" I pleaded, "You told me you guys were childhood friends. Why wouldn't you want to see her?""How are you so sure we didn't meet a few hours ago? After all, I told you we were childhood friends" he let out, making my face brighten at his articulation. Immediately, my senses grabbed his statement. "You guys met a few hours ago?" I beamed, with eyes wide open in surprise. I was visibly happy about what he said. Maybe not really. He warded off his eyes from his meal to give me a suspicious glare "What are you up to, Allie? Don't tell me you just want a casual hang out. Lately, You've been interested in my relationship with Kendall." he pointed out smartly. I cracked my brain for a flawless lie to coat his mistrust. "Nothing certain. I got more inquisitive after you lied to me that you guys were nothing but childhood pals, whereas it was something else""Something else?" h
