Amelie POV I brought Alexa up to speed on the woman who had called while Alexa had been in a coma. “The only women I knew of were our mother, and the researcher,” Alexa shared. “You do not think it could be anybody else? Alexa POV I hated that so much had been forced on Amelie and Matt since they found me. I felt like I needed to do something to save them. I needed to get back on my feet so I could find a way to give myself up and save Amelie’s pup. I was terrified of what would happen to the pup and Amelie, if they managed to get Amelie. It would be the only way, if I were to give myself up in exchange for them leaving Amelie and Matt to live their lives. Alexa POV I screamed as I watched Amelie slide down the wall. I had no connection to the pack so I could not call for Matt to see where he was.
