As Kira woke up to a new day, she rubbed her eyes and looked around the room, still feeling disoriented. The luxurious room, the soft bed, and the unfamiliar surroundings all reminded her that she was no longer in the world she knew. Her mind quickly went to escape once more. She knew she had to get out of this place as soon as possible, but the question was how? She had no idea how to navigate this new world, let alone find a way to escape from the kingdom.Kira got up from the bed, freshened up, dressed up, and went to the window. She looked outside, observing the people walking around the castle grounds. It was all so different from what she was used to. She missed the familiar sound of the city and the organized chaos of the mafia world. Now that she was here with no place to go and no idea where Aryann is, she realized she was in for a very long and boring life if she didn't find a way out as soon as possible. There was no television to watch, no phone or laptop, no place that sh

Kira heard another knock on her door and wondered who it was this time. "Come in if you're a reasonable person," She said, half expecting it was Arthur coming back to apologize for his mannerless behavior. The door opened and Henrietta, followed by Alice Raymond and Mabel Smith entered with big smiles on their faces."Hope we're reasonable people," Alice said.Kirw frowned at them and shrugged. "Well, I wouldn't know. Are you?"They chuckled awkwardly and Mabel said. "Well, we just came to check on you. We want to take you around the palace, what do you think?"Kira beamed. "I think it would be phenomenal!"They all looked at themselves in confusion. And as they looked at each other in confusion, their brows furrowed in puzzlement. They exchanged a quick glance, trying to communicate without words.Kira could see that their expressions and body language conveyed a sense of bewilderment and helplessness, as they tried to make sense of something that was beyond their understanding. As Kira walked through the garden, she was struck by its beauty. The garden was filled with vibrant colors and sweet fragrances, and the air was thick with the hum of bees and the chirping of birds. The garden was meticulously maintained, with trimmed hedges, blooming flowers of every color, and an array of fruit trees. There was a serene pond in the center of the garden, surrounded by large rocks and pebbles. The water was crystal clear, and Kira could see the fish swimming beneath the surface. 'If only she could enter it.' She thought. The garden was a peaceful oasis, with benches and small tables scattered throughout, inviting visitors to sit and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. As Kira walked further into the garden, she saw a small gazebo off in the distance. The gazebo was covered in vines and flowers, and the sun shone through the leaves, casting a dappled pattern on the ground.Kira couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the beauty of the garden. It was as if she had stepped

Confronting the king

King Arthur's office was a spacious room situated at the top of the palace, offering a commanding view of the surrounding countryside. The walls were lined with bookshelves and various maps and charts, hinting at the many responsibilities that fell on his shoulders as both a pack leader and a king. A large wooden desk dominated the center of the room, strewn with papers and scrolls, and several comfortable-looking armchairs were arranged around a small fireplace in the corner. When Kira entered, she found Arthur hunched over his desk, poring over a stack of reports and memos. He was dressed in his usual attire of a simple tunic and trousers, but his expression was tense and focused as he worked through the various duties that came with his position.Kira cleared her throat, announcing her presence, and Arthur looked up, his features softening slightly when he saw her. "Kara," he said, rising from his chair and crossing the room to greet her. "What brings you here?"Kira hesitated, fee

Hearing about the stables, Kira was interested and she wanted Henrietta to show her as soon as possible but she was willing to take things easy. The day was coming to a slow end so she said her goodbyes to Henrietta so she could freshen up and get ready to eat.Kira was walking down the hallway lost in thought when she suddenly bumped into Jennifer, who was holding a stack of papers. The papers went flying, and Jennifer scrambled to pick them up."Watch where you're going!" Jennifer snapped."Oops, I wasn't paying attention," Kira replied, trying to be conciliatory.Jennifer gathered her papers, and her eyes narrowed as she stood up straight. "I heard what you did with the old queen. You turned down her offer to –" She looked around in fear of any listening voices. "To help bring down Arthur." She whispered."And what's it to you?"I am Prince Kevin's mate! The rightful king.""And so?" Kira questioned her with an 'I don't care' attitude."You made a promise to work with us. There was
