Confronting the king

King Arthur's office was a spacious room situated at the top of the palace, offering a commanding view of the surrounding countryside. The walls were lined with bookshelves and various maps and charts, hinting at the many responsibilities that fell on his shoulders as both a pack leader and a king. A large wooden desk dominated the center of the room, strewn with papers and scrolls, and several comfortable-looking armchairs were arranged around a small fireplace in the corner.

When Kira entered, she found Arthur hunched over his desk, poring over a stack of reports and memos. He was dressed in his usual attire of a simple tunic and trousers, but his expression was tense and focused as he worked through the various duties that came with his position.

Kira cleared her throat, announcing her presence, and Arthur looked up, his features softening slightly when he saw her. "Kara," he said, rising from his chair and crossing the room to greet her. "What brings you here?"
