Alley POV"Let's go babushka!" Ivan was at the door nodding for me to exit. Here goes nothing. It's just dinner with the head of the Russian crime families. I can do this! Just tell me him half truths, no secrets of Ace, not like I know any, unless he wants to know how he likes to fuck. Jesus what is happening? I'm going to die."Sit!" Dmitri ordered. I nearly jumped in my seat. Who knew I could be so obedient?I looked around taking in the beautiful room before us. It was old, but in a regal way. Everything was solid wood, dark colors with pops of yellow or orange in it. The ceiling was arched with a detailed painting of heaven's angels. That was strange. Do these people actually believe in the Bible?"You have an eye for art I see. You are an architect, correct?" Dmitri was a gorgeous man that reeked of power. His brown eyes looked at me like a toy to play with and I didn't like it. I wasn't sure if he wanted information or my body. Maybe both? Oh my god he is going to rape and kill

Ace POVThe next week went by painfully slow. Daniel was in a mood and Elise had left to meet my father. I was happy about that despite the fact she was with my father. It was better than her being here with all these men looking at her like a toy though. After Marie waited over 24 hours for my punishment I finally went and got her. It would had been so much easier to just leave her there but Fernando started asking where she was. Now it was the night before our wedding and I was freaking out. I had a plan, not a great plan, but it was a plan. Anything to stop this wedding from happening was worth it. "We are going to die. This plan is fucking horrible Ace." Daniel whispered shouted at me. "It's fine." I waved him off. He always worried too much."You want me to poison your fiancée so she is too sick for the wedding? That is a stupid plan. Fernando will know something isn't right. Not to mention we have acres of a purple fuck drug to deal with." "Just slip some shit in her dinner

Alley POVI kept my eyes shut until I heard the door creak open for the tenth time. Ace was here! I don't know how I knew but I did. He walked in like a God not in the mood to be bothered by these humans. His gaze went to his father before he met mine. I saw the flicker of acknowledgment of who I was in his eyes. Then he looks away. What the fuck? No screaming, no killing. He just ignores me and sits down. Great plan Elise!I prayed he was just stalling while he figured out how to save us. As the clock ticked by he never once looked my way. Neither did Daniel. To make it worse I had a front row seat while his fiancée groped him all night. The head man Fernando raised his glass toasting his cousin and Ace's union tomorrow and I wanted to throw up. Why was my life such crap? Ace did lie to me and Derek was right. Ace was a monster deeply rooted in all that was evil. He was even marrying the cousin of a drug lord who took his step mother as a wife after killing his father. This was so

Ace POVI laid my perfect girl to my bed. "I'm just going to change then I won't leave your side." I kissed her cheek."You better not." She smiled already closing her eyes. She was exhausted and I didn't know how she got through all this. Alley was the strongest woman I ever known and for some reason she had no idea the immense strength she held.By the time I was changed she was passed out. I crawled in bed spooning her into my arms with the biggest smile. I knew we couldn't be together, but for right now I had her. Every time it was filled with heart break and regret, but not tonight. Tonight I was savoring this moment with her in my arms. My fingers brushed over her wrist sending a wave of pain through me. Why would she do this? Was it because of me? Derek? I wanted to erase that day from her life. Erase any day she felt not good enough. Alley Knight was the only thing pure I knew. The world didn't deserve her and never the other way around.I kissed her scar lightly praying she

Ace POVI stood at that fucking alter wanting to put a bullet in every single one of their heads. I could see all their smiling faces with a hole right through their skulls as blood poured out it. The music began playing and everyone knows what that means. One thing I said I wasn't fucking doing was marrying that rat face woman and here I am doing exactly that. This was mother fucking bullshit. I could see Marie walking closer to me even though I didn't look her way. Every step she took I prayed she trip and brake her neck. I wasn't that lucky though. The whole time I felt Alley's eyes on me. It was some weird sixth sense shit with that woman I had. Once her presence was close to mine I just knew she was there without even seeing her. When her eyes found my body I felt them suck me into her soul. No matter how much I denied it the last seven years, I was always made to be hers. I wasn't going to deny it anymore though. Now I'm fucking marrying the most annoyingly stupid woman I ever
