At first, I was scared of an attack on the men so I allowed them to remain in their wolf forms while we tried to seek a way out. After hours of searching and walking around in circles, I finally decided to shift and watched as the men did so while they dressed up in the clothes they had strapped to their back just before they shifted into their wolves for the battle the previous night. Once that was done, I gathered them together and began to address the issue on ground. "It seems we've been tricked. Someone or something that doesn't want us to head to Moon Claw pack has succeeded in taking us off the trail.
