Thirty minutes into the conversation, Rebecca arrived. Her mom was with her and was even more excited to meet Delroy more than anyone. She was asking him questions about his work and faith and how he handles both... Apparently, Delroy is well known in discipleship talks. In the media, he is rarely seen and known but in "his" world, he is very much seen and known. Its crazy. Once everything was loaded in Becca's moms' truck, Delroy left soon after but only after asking so many times if we will be fine driving to his place. Becca's mom gave me a warm hug to go with, and gave her daughter an earful talk before leaving. Something I did not know I needed was a mother's hug and a friend's comfort.
