"How is he feeling now?""He feels much better, thank you my very good friend. I appreciate all your care during these trying times. So how did it go?" Susan asked impatiently."Guess what? I finally got the job" Ashley said, beaming with smiles."Are you serious? What happened?" "Well, you know I got a message from them and I went back to the company. The receptionist was not ready to attend to me. I showed her the message and she looked at me and told me to hold on. While I sat down there waiting, the person I assumed to be their boss came out of the office and asked who I was?""I told him I got a message from them via email and I have been waiting all day to be interviewed. He was surprised and gave the receptionist a questioning look. He asked her why she didn't let me in but there was no reasonable response from her. He scolded her thoroughly and guess what? In her presence, he told me I had been appointed as the new secretary to the office""Wow, are you serious? You are reall

"Shii! Ashley just calm down" His voice was low"You said what? Don't touch me""Just calm down please" She tried to struggle with him but he overpowered her. Roland tried kissing her. She was doing everything possible to push him away and then his lips touched her nipples, she became weak. Immediately Roland tried to go deep down and she realized herself, Ashley pushed him out which made Roland fall off. She stood up immediately. He tried holding her but she gave him a slap "How dare you? Are you insane? How could you try to cheat on your wife with me?""But she is barren. I need a child""Really! And you think I am in the best position to give you a child?""I can even get married to you and send her off. I don't mind""Shut up! You are a very wicked man who is full of pretense. Now I know who you are but believe me, your wife will hear of this""You dare not!" Roland fumed in angerAshley looked at him so angrily and walked out on him and moved straight to the room. "What have I

"So what do we do now?""Just calm down. I am very sure he is fine wherever he is, but you need to rest, okay?" "I cannot rest while my husband is out there by this time. Let me call Peter""Okay, that's fine" Ashley knew that the problem was about to begin if she tried and called Peter. She thought of stopping her but Susan will never allow that.Ashley knew the exact truth, that Roland was not with his friends but was actually out with a woman. Maybe he had decided to spend the night with the woman without the knowledge of his wife, but at least he would have called his wife and informed her that he won't be coming back."Hello, Peter," Susan said with a shaky voice. Her hand trembled as she held the phone."It's me, Susan, please is my husband there with you?""So you didn't see my husband at all?""Oh, my God! He is not at home" "I have tried his line but it is not connecting" "Okay, thank you" "Did he say your husband was not there?""Yes, he said he didn't see my husband. H

"Come on, why are you staring at me that way? Don't you understand what I am saying or are you not working in a corporate company?""Uhmm, my boss hasn't mentioned anything like that yet""Oh! I see... So where do you work?"Monalisa scratches her head trying to think of a lie "I am still trying to master the name of the company. It is a corporate company though, but the name is very long. You know I just started""Oh! I see.. so what position do you acquire in the company?""I am just one of the staff""Okay, maybe with time you will get to a higher position""Yes, according to my boss, he said whenever he sees a serious-minded person he will surely promote him no matter how many months" "That's fine. So where is the company located?"Monalisa started coughing. "Excuse me" She ran to the kitchen. Alex wondered what prompted the cough but he wasn't satisfied with the answer she gave him. He was determined to find out more."Could there be something that she is hiding from me? She

"Felix was right when he talked about prostitution. I shouldn't have neglected it but I am happy I was able to get some evidence in case she tries to play smart. I don't know if I should talk to her about it or maybe I should keep on watching her""It is obvious that the job she got was a prostitution job. When I think she has changed, she goes ahead to do worse than I can ever imagine. Felix was advising me to reconsider her since she has gotten a job but just imagine what a woman will be doing to herself""Is everything not provided for her? Why would she be doing such a thing? Even if she wanted a man, it shouldn't be a way older man. I am very sure that man is married and old enough to be her father"Alex was not finding it easy. He was controlling his temper that night. He had to call Felix on the phone."Man, you can't imagine what this lady did. I got home before her, not quite long. She came back in corporate attire, which means she will wear corporate attire to leave the hous
