Henry’s POV.The words settle between us, quiet but heavy, and for a moment I don’t respond. She nods, her fingers still gripping the blanket as if it’s the only stable thing in her world right now. I take a step closer to the bed, my gaze dropping briefly to the bandage wrapped around her head before returning to her eyes. “Do you remember anything else?”She shakes her head slowly, wincing just slightly at the movement.Then I step closer again, stopping right beside her bed, close enough that she has to tilt her head slightly to keep looking at me.
