Lahat ng Kabanata ng BEING HIS SECRETARY : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

ALYSSA’S POV. After taking a nice hot bath to relieve all my stressed muscles, I went back to the living room. “Hey Aly, come eat dinner.” I heard Mum’s say. “Thanks, mum.” I pecked her cheek and saw Maria still seating on the couch, “Maria, come on.” She shook her head. “Oh, I’m filled up already. Mum fed me.” She said with a blush, while I smiled. “Okay.” I sat down as mum placed my food on the table, I munched on it hungrily. “Mum, remember I’m going to the party tomorrow.” She hummed and asked, “what time are you leaving?” “At 10:00pm.” Wait for it, Aly. “What! Ten that’s so late, are you going for clubbing.” She flared up, and I groaned. “Mum, I’m not going to any club, it’s just a party, a company party and like I told you before, I must be there since I’m the boss’s secretary.” I continue munching on my food. “I know, but ten is too late.” She signed and said, “do you have anything suitable to wear?” “No mum, but I’m go

XAVIER’S POV. I glared at their backs as they took the road to the backstage. I was still standing, baffled at MK's utterance and also Alyssa’s. I can’t believe she dare go against me, even when I insisted on her not doing it. She better get ready to receive her punishment for defiling me when she comes back, but to think about it, this is actually the first time my secretary is talking back at me and making her own decisions. Impressive. I took a sip from my wine and watched as some businessmen tried to come my way, but my stare discouraged them. I don’t want any connection or contracts with those people, people who lie and cheat their partner for better gain or profit. “Can I have your attention please?” A feminine voice called out and my eyes darted to the stage. She was a red haired lady, looked beautifully clad in a red glaring straight gown that matched the color of her hair. She looked immaculately beautiful, like someone who just ditched me for some model job, I shook

XAVIER’S POV. I frowned as she gasped with a guilty look. How could she forget about Chelsea, I know what I passed through when she didn’t see her this morning or yesterday. Chelsea cried throughout the whole night and this morning, thinking her Nanny left her like her mother did. I haven’t seen my daughter cry over anything before, not even me, but she cried because she didn’t see Alyssa. I glared at her and said. “I will take your silence as a no.” I was upset, Chelsea refused to take her breakfast because she didn’t see her Nanny, but after coaxing and petting her she reluctantly ate her breakfast but refused to take her bath. She was waiting for her Nanny. The same Nanny who didn’t care to check up on her, I know we went to a party and came back late but couldn’t she call and talk to her. “I…I’m so sorry, sir, I …. I totally forgot, but I will go pick her from school.” I arched my brows, school, on a Saturday. What’s wrong with her today? “Miss Brown, do you realize i

XAVIER’S POV. I looked at him as he described Alyssa with so much passion, gosh why did I feel a tug in my heart if any man looks or compliments her. “And what if the nanny you’re referring to is ugly.” I arched my brows, waiting for his comeback. “Only her facial structure will be ugly, not her front or her back or even her mout....” I spanked the idiot, he always proves to be a man whore and I don’t know how I got a friend like him. “Sometimes I always forget that you’re a man whore.” I said, and he laughed “Yeah, Yeah And besides, I believe my little champ won’t take an ugly lady as her nanny, you know she has good taste like you huh.” He winked and I nodded. It’s true, Chelsea has always had good and exquisite taste in food, dresses, shoes, bags, nannies you name it. “Yeah, she really does have good taste.” I said and spaced out. I’m still angry at him, how could he describe my Alyssa like that, not the way you are thinking about it. She’s my Alyssa because she

❤️ ALYSSA’S POV ❤️ “Nanny Lyssa!” Chelsea hugged me as I walked in. I hugged her back with a huge smile on my face, she was looking bright and refreshed this morning and did I add happy. “Hi baby, how was your night?” I pecked her cheeks. “It was fine.” She replied happily and I giggled. She was extremely happy this morning and I need to know the reason, is her mum back or did her dad get her, her dream toy or anything. “You are happy this morning baby, can you tell nanny the secret behind your smile.” I asked, and she giggled, twirling her strain hair with her finger. “Grandma will be coming over tomorrow, that’s why am happy” “Your grandma?” She nods “Daddy’s mother and I guess you will see my handsome daddy tomorrow.” I smiled. For the past two days, Chelsea has been going on and on how handsome and cute her dad was, and it made me curious if he was as handsome as the aloof CEO I know. “I will.” Today was a free day from the office, I decided to spend it wi
