As the first rays of dawn filtered through my bedroom window, gently nudging me from the embrace of slumber, I blinked my eyes open, greeted by the soft hues of morning light. A sense of anticipation fluttered in my chest as I realized a new day had dawned, brimming with possibilities and the promise of reuniting with Levi. With a stretch and a yawn, I rose from my bed, feeling the warmth of the morning caress my skin. The routine of the day beckoned, a symphony of familiar tasks that held a comforting rhythm. I made my way to the bathroom, the cool tiles beneath my feet invigorating my senses. The sound of running water filled the air as I turned on the faucet, splashing my face and brushing away the remnants of sleep.Cleansed and refreshed, I stepped into the steamy embrace of the shower, relishing in the cascading droplets that washed away any lingering weariness. Thoughts of Levi danced through my mind, the memory of his touch, his laughter, and the undeniable connection we share

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. I opened my eyes and saw the little boy lying on the bed beside me. He was awake and staring at me, so I got up and offered him some water."Hey... Where are you going?" he asked as I stood up."I'm gonna take a shower," I said. "Will you come with me?""Me?""Yeah, you know, to wash your hair.""Oh... Okay, I guess I will.""Great!" I grinned happily. "I'll go get some shampoo, so wait here."When I got back to the bedroom with the bottles of shampoo, the little boy was gone. I looked around the room, wondering where he had disappeared to, but there wasn't anyone else there.I heard a noise coming from outside, so I peeked out of the window. It was raining heavily, and there was lightning in the sky. Hmm, looks like it's really bad out there... Maybe he's waiting for me under the porch roof...I took the raincoat hanging on the wall and put it on. I then opened the door and stepped out onto the porch. There, I saw the kid sitting on a ben

Andrew followed me to his car, and we drove to his doctor's office."Mr. Andrews, I'm Dr. Duarte," the doctor greeted us."I know who you are," Andrew replied."Let's go sit down, Mr. Andrews," he said. "I need to talk to you about your test results."Once we were seated, the doctor examined Andrew. He then grabbed a pen and paper and began taking notes."Since you're here, I assume you know what you're dealing with?" he asked."Yes, we do," Andrew replied. "I have cancer.""I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you," Dr. Duarte said. "I'm going to write you a prescription, and we'll go over the details of the treatment plan.""Can I bring my wife along?" Andrew asked."Of course," the doctor replied. "I'm sure it would be helpful for her to understand what we're talking about."He wrote the prescription, and the three of us left the office."Do you want to stop by the pharmacy before going home?" I asked."Yes, I would," Andrew replied. We went to the closest store and picke

“Nice to meet you, Cherry," I greeted her with a smile, extending my hand for a handshake. Cherry returned my smile, reaching her hand to return the handshake."It's a pleasure to meet you too, Jasmine." She said.I glanced over at Levi, my curiosity piqued. "How come You never mentioned her to me, Levi?"Levi's cheeks flushed slightly as he chuckled nervously. "Well, that’s because I’m meeting her for the first time. So are you."His response, though unexpected, filled me with a sense of relief. The lingering doubts and insecurities that had plagued my mind seemed to dissipate, replaced by a newfound ease. It was clear that Cherry and Levi's relationship was platonic, and I could breathe a little easier.Cherry, ever the inquisitive older woman, tilted her head and looked back and forth between Levi and me. "So, are you two like… dating?"I smirked, glancing at Levi, eager to hear his response. "Well, Levi, what do you say?"Levi met my gaze, his eyes sparkling with affection. "Yes,

Levi’s POV:I was engaged in a conversation with one of my trusted pack mates, Bruno, when his voice suddenly dropped to a hushed tone, his words cutting through the background noise."Levi," he began cautiously, "I thought you should know... Sarah is here. She's waiting for you in the pack house."My heart skipped a beat, and my gaze hardened, fixated on a distant point in the room. Sarah, my ex-girlfriend. Memories flooded my mind, both good and bad, intertwining in a bittersweet tapestry. It had been months since we parted ways, and I had worked hard to heal the wounds left behind. But now, the mention of her name brought back a wave of emotions, threatening to drown me.I felt a gentle hand on my arm, and I turned to see my current girlfriend, Jasmine, looking at me with concern etched across her face. Her eyes searched mine, sensing the shift in my demeanour."What is it, Levi?" she asked softly, her voice laced with worry. "I can tell something has changed. Please, talk to me."
