Lahat ng Kabanata ng Fated To The Evil Viking : Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

When I hear the Gamma chief's voice answer to my knock from inside his apartment, my heart skip before it steadily began to do a loud dum dum inside my chest. Right there and then, I begin to regret not accepting Ethan's help. I look over my shoulder, hoping he will still be hanging around but he isn't, he has gone back inside their apartment.I take a deep breath and swallow around the lump that I feel blocking my throat, willing myself to calm down before I slowly push the door in. When I enter, I see him sitting in front of a table by the window. hunch over, and fixing something inside a laptop that has its panel open before him."Gamma Chief..." I greet with apprehension as I step further inside. I wait patiently not far from his table for him to give me the go-ahead or point me in the direction he needs me to work on first. After some minutes of waiting while he continues to work on his laptop. I call his attention again... "Gamma Chief, I'm waiting for your...""What!?" He g

The next floor after the Beta and Gamma chief's floor is occupied by the Sentinels. There are usually four Sentinels in a pack. They are two mated pairs that the Alpha and Beta chose and train to take their places if anything bad should happen to them in futureBy this time of the day, every shifter would have gone to their various workplaces or duties. Since I have the key cards to all their apartments, I open the first Sentinel apartment and enter their living room.Even though I bring Ethan along just to accompany me, I'm glad a nd relieved when he offers to help with the vacuuming while I clean every other place in the apartment. Division of labor is exactly what I need right now. The bathroom is always the last place I clean in every apartment. When I enter the Sentinel's bathroom, I'm in awe and couldn't believe my eyes when I see myself in the mirror above the sink."This is amazing! When did this happen?" I ask the face staring back at me in the mirror. I didn't get to see w

Martha is shocked to see my wolf's eyes or is that fear in her eyes? Do I seem like a monster to her? Is she scared of me now? I think to myself before directing my gaze toward Ethan. His eyes are narrowed in concentration like he's trying to figure out something about me.I look away from them, closing my eyes for some seconds to calm my wolf down and get my breathing under control. When I open them again, I see through the casserole dish that they were back to their normal amber color. I look over at Ethan again and I catch him looking at me strangely. I couldn't look at Martha's face again. I'm scared of what I would see in her eyes. Fear? Hate? Will she start avoiding me from now on? I ask myself these questions but don't wish to find out what the answer will be. I just walk out of the kitchen, through the back doorI can't remember the last time I cry for anything. Maybe two years ago when Celine announced it was time I dropped out of school and work to help out with the family e

Ethan is already waiting for us in his car when Martha and I come out of her house arm in arm. We arrive at where he's parked and Martha opens the back door while I sit beside Ethan in the front seat."Hi..." She simply says to Ethan with a smile before she comfortably rests her back, exhales, and closes her eyes. We'd been working all day and I know she's tired. I feel guilty for keeping her out of her bed. I can't wait for me to turn eighteen so she can finally retire."Hi. Thank you for doing this" I say to Ethan with a smile and he also smiles, nodding back in return. The drive to the station is a short one, about ten minutes, and done in silence since we don't want to wake Martha who appears to have drifted into dreamland alreadyAs soon as we alight from the car, Martha excuses herself and goes straight to get our tickets which Ethan insisted on paying for. He also gets some stuff that he says we might need for the road. The ticket Martha got is for a suite cabin that contains

Flame's POVMy whole body stiffens as explosive wolves' voices begin to howl inside my head and all around me. I forcefully push myself away from Ethan with my eyes tightly shut and my hands over my ears in a bid to block out some of the noise but it is useless. It feels like a parade is going on inside my head. Throngs of angry wolves running and howling in unison. Threatening to render me insane. I manage to open my eyes when I feel Ethan's firm hands shaking my shoulders...His lips are moving but I can't hear what he's saying over all the howlings and the paws beating hard on the wall of my skull."Make it stop! Please make it stop! It's driving me crazy! I'm about to go insane! It is painful. Feels as if my head is about to explode" I cry out to him in desperation. He looks frantic with worry for me. His lips are still moving, uttering words he had no idea I can't hear. That is it. He's not doing anything to stop the voice. Can he even hear me?"Make it stop!" I shout through t
