Hilda thought for while before speaking. "My relationship with the Adams family is very complicated. You already know it. I do not have access to any of my family's share nor a place in the family business. You are aware of that right? And I'm already gonna be given off on a marriage alliance with another family so once they find out..."Nathan nodded. "Only a worthless man would depend on his woman like this for family alliance. And you don't have to worry about these. I will take care of it once we get married. Don't you trust me?" Hilda laughed. "Okay."Nathan raised his tone slightly and asked in confusion. "I was thinking you would be talking more about matters relating to your personal benefits?""Benefits?" Hilda felt uncomfortable for some reasons. She didn't want their marriage to involve such things. "There is no need to talk about those. I trust you."Nathan curled his lips. "Since you have no more questions, when do you want to get married?" Hilda felt complicated. She h

Why would you be worried? Weren't you guys so in love and couldn't wait to get engaged? So you should try your best and stop saying this silly things about you loving me. I'm your sister- in - law.""Hilda, why are you so on guard against me? I'm your first love and brother in law. I would never think of harming you. We are doing everything for your own good Hilda.""Never harm me? Hilda scoffed at his words. "Think about what all of you did and ask your conscience whether you have harmed me or not. Please just let me be. We are at work so we should not be talking about such matters."Daniel refused to give up even though Hilda had made her self clear. "You have misunderst

She is a beauty. Taking her hand Rex spoke up "Hi Miss Hilda, I'm Rex. Nice to meet you."Frowning Hilda replied. "Hi Mr. Rex, Is a pleasure to meet you."With that Mrs. Adams said shamelessly. "I will leave you two to get to know each other. As I said, Mr. Rex, Hilda is single and so are you."Understanding the meaning of her words, Hilda smiled bitterly and thought. So I'm the bargaining chip here for them to get a marriage alliance with the Cross family. What a shame.Rex stared internly at Hilda as he thought she isn't so bad after all.Everyone in Taadi knows who Rex was. He was young but leads a promiscuous life. Looking at him who was staring at her flirticiously, Hilda shuddered. As they were standing and looking at each other awkwardly, Carmen came over with a drink. "Mr. Rex, Si

Meanwhile in the bathroom, two people stood together in there holding their breathe. Hilda felt particularly tensed as her hands clung onto Nathan's body. She gritted her teeth trying her very best to control her restlessness. The drug was very strong that Hilda couldn't withstand it anymore. She couldn't bear the heat.As Nathan knew how strong the drug in Hilda's body was, he squeezed her shoulders, exerting a light force in an attempt to keep her awake. Hilda closed her eyes slightly and bit her lips in pain. Moaning she spoke up. "I feel really terrible Nathan.""Shh!" Nathan frowned and quickly covered Hilda's mouth upon hearing her moan. Seeing how alluring Hilda was looking, Nathan gulped unconsciously. His throat moved as he swallowed some saliva."Did anyone hear that sound?"Daniel thought he had heard a sound but it was very faint so he didn't quiet catch it. Nathan froze. Looking at the half conscious Hilda in his hands who was already rubbing her own body against him, hi

"Nathan..., you are my husband but you are leaving me.. sob, sob. You are bad."Hearing her voice, Nathan stopped midway, turned around and starred at her. An inexplicable emotion surged up within him. She knows it me. "Hilda, do you really want this?"Getting up from the bed, Hilda tried walking up to him but ended up falling back on the bed. "I want you." Nathan walked back to the bed, held her head and said. "Hilda, you started this." Before lowering his lips to kiss her.
