Lena’s Point Of View(A piggyback ride)My eyes danced around the crowd, it would be so embarrassing to walk around this way, it was also embarrassing to look at Dante but he’s the only one that I could face at the moment. He took off his black suit and handed it to me. “Use this.” I grabbed it from him and draped it on my shoulders.“Let’s go.” He pulled me up from my seat and made sure he was so close to me, holding by my waist, using his body to cover my back. We walked until we were out of the party hall.Dante led me to the restroom, shutting the door behind us, he pushed my inside and before I could say a word, he was yelling at me.“What is wrong with you?” His voice echoed in the restroom, I flinched at his raised voice and used his suit to cover it very well.“You were going to dance with him?” He yelled and I prayed so hard that the toilet was sound proof else people around would hear Dante scream like a mad person.“I. I thought…” I tried to speak up but he was fast to cut

Lena’s Point Of ViewAs I walked from the backstage, I walked to the podium with different reporters taking pictures, clapping and welcoming me.I gracefully walked to the podium and waited for a few seconds, letting the camera’s do its job.Clicking and flashes of white light filled the room, a few reporters with cameras were standing so they could take clearer pictures while the rest sat in the big conference room.I looked forward and my eyes met with Dante, he’d left the back stage and was now seated in the front roll where I’m very sure was reserved for reporters.“Good day everybody.” I had wanted to use Italian but Dante had advised me not to.“As many of you know, I am Gwendolyn Roma, the head of the council, the council members are the biggest decision making board of King Empire and I represent King Empire today. Your questions can come in.” I smiled, inside of me was trying so hard to be calm, now I understand why Dante was seated in front of me. I watched him nod his head

Lena’s Point Of ViewThe incident that had happened today had made me see Dante in a different way, this is not the man that I had gotten married to, Dante was always so commanding and agitating, he never cared about me, if I’d die he’d never care. I remember when he starved me for a whole day, he was always so mean to me but these days he wasn't. He made sure I was taken good care of and my opinion suddenly seemed to matter to him a lot, my safety was now his priority. Even though most of the time he was rude to me he still acted nice, he even changed the contract to allow me contact my parents and to allow physical touch.I was happy about this and I prayed too hard for it to last.We sat opposite each other as we ate in the garden; I barely had an appetite and the wound on my lips kept stinging as I ate.“I’m sorry for whatever happened to you today, I should have been more careful.”“I am okay Dante.”“I hope you are.” He stretched his hand and took my hand in his as we ate.“The

I felt it was somehow related to me, Dante who had a blank look on his face was now fuming with anger.“Are you fine? Who was that?” We were in the elevator and I held to his arm softly. He turned to me, his eyes filled with furry, it was like he could kill and when he said do not go easy on him. He meant it. Was he going to hurt someone?“I found who threw the mic at you, he’ll never go home the same way.” He gritted his teeth and balled his fist very tight, veins popping on his fist.“No Dante, you don’t have to hurt him. I am okay, aren’t I?” I still found it a bit weird speaking with him after what had occurred yesterday.“You shouldn’t interfere in matters like this, I will deal with him the way I please. I’ll kill him and dump this body if that’s needed.” I took my hand away from him when he said that. He was going to kill him,“You're joking right?” I asked and he turned to me and gave a smirk.“I am not, no one touches you and goes scot free, I’ll make sure next time he’ll neve

Lena’s Point Of ViewI didn’t wait for Irene to wake me up today, before her normal waking up knock came, I was already awake and I had taken my bath before Irene knocked on my door.“Come in.” I rolled out and she pushed the door open.I sat in front of my mirror fully dressed. I was waiting for the makeup artist now because I had helped myself in my clothes and was now waiting for her.“Good morning Mrs Roma?” I saw her glance at my bed then at me and I gave a smile.“You are awake already?”“Yes.” I chuckled.“And you’ve had your bath?” Her eyes trailed down my body.“Yes Irene.”“Why?” Her voice was very low, I turned to her and stopped using the reflection of my dressing mirror to stare at her .“I figured it would be nice to get myself ready without your help, you deserve some rest.” A little smile appeared on my face.“You no longer need me? I like to get you ready, it is not a problem. I love to get you ready, it reminds me of the old days when I used to get my daughter ready
