Lahat ng Kabanata ng You Promised Me, Alpha!: Kabanata 91 - Kabanata 100

Luna Megan's POV againLouise's words kept echoing in my head.It sounded decidedly unreal that Lori' was capable of inflicting so much pain on a fellow pack member. Jealousy is a destructive emotion and can drive a person to irreparable acts. But Lori has no such aura. She stepped in for me when I had already given up on my mate and saved my relationship with Alvarez by personally intervening. For the sake of my happiness, she had the DNA test done and even traveled to Crescent Moon herself to sort it out. Lori is a caring person, hatred and pain are not in her character. After her return to Eclipse Howl, she kept Romero at a distance, even though they had been close as toddlers. Only when Aniyan spilled the beans did she grudgingly acknowledge it. And when she was pregnant, she refused to confront the Alpha and Luna about it. In fact, I was very surprised to learn that she had slept with Romero, even though he was not her destiny. Being frivolous is not her thing either. And yet, sh

Luna Megan's POV againThe welcome at Crescent Moon is particularly warm.Alpha Kertin and his Luna are waiting for us on the veranda. No wonder Cliara is such a beauty and Lori was jealous of her interest in Romero. I wonder if this family already knows that they are now living together and have triplets. "Luna Megan. Welcome to our pack. How thoughtful of you to visit Cliara. She told me you were friends at college." Luna kisses me twice on the cheeks, while the Alpha pats me on the shoulder. I introduce them to Zalev and we enter the packhouse."Come, let me show you your quarters. It has been a long journey, so you might want to freshen up." The Luna leads us to the lift while two warriors carry our bags. When we reach the second floor, Zalev steps out with a warrior while Luna takes me one floor up."This is the Alpha wing. As the Luna of the Blue Blood, with whom we have a strong bond of friendship, you will stay here. As soon as we knew you were coming, we cleare

Luna Megan's POV again The Alpha and Luna enter the recreation room and the conversation takes a different turn. I talk about my upcoming Luna ceremony, which Alvarez plans to hold on my anniversary when our wolves give the final confirmation that we have been brought together by the Moon Goddess. My mate is planning a big celebration, with all the packs invited to witness us being joined by the Elders and me being installed as Luna. The Alpha family confirms their arrival, in fact, they are very excited to witness it all. Towards the end of the evening, I announce that Zalev and I will be leaving the next day.I explain that we are now convinced that Cliara is doing well and that I want to visit my parents in Eclipse Howl before returning home. We wish each other a good night and retire to our respective quarters. A few minutes later, I heard the front door open. With a start I sit up in bed, this was an unannounced visit. I wonder if the

Luna ceremony in Blue Blood The guests arrive one by one. It is all a spectacle of wealth and elegance. Expensive cars and haute couture dresses are on display.Blue Blood is buzzing with activity; today is a special day. The Alpha and Luna are being sworn in as mates by the Elders, after which the Luna will be installed.Soft music emanates from the boxes as those present feast on the abundant food and drink. The invited Alphas take the opportunity to exchange ideas about the affairs of their packs, while the Lunas prepare to welcome Meg into their circle.Crescent Moon's flashy Rolls Royce pulls up. The entire Alpha family is on board. The four of them get out and mingle with the crowd. Cliara is there too, trying to hide behind her brother. This is the first time she has appeared in public since the incident, and everyone stares at her curiously. Some look at her with pity, others gossip in groups at the sight of the patch over her eye and the scar on one side of h

Still Luna Megan's POV The rituals pass me by, I'm like a remote-controlled robot, doing what's expected of me. My eyes focus only on Alvarez, who stares back in love. In the eyes of our guests, we must look like two smitten teenagers who have just met, but we don't care. To my surprise, Alvarez has arranged for wedding rings.I look at him in surprise; this is not really our tradition. We mate, have ceremonies to tell everyone, and mark each other to establish our exclusive right to our mates. Wedding rings are for humans, a sign that they are already married."Yes, I want this too. We can mark each other and also wear a ring on our finger for the humans to see," he explains, noticing my reaction. He takes my hand and kisses each finger."Megan Smith, Luna of the Blue Blood pack, do you want to be not only my mate but also my wife, as humans refer to it?" "I do," I whisper sincerely, choking up with emotion as I look deep into his eyes.As
