Chapter 21
His hands began to roam. Kons traced her spine and she was amazed how her body responded to his touch. It's like it's all she's ever known. She moaned and her arousal flooded her with adrenaline. He reached for her hands and held them together on her back. Para siyang bihag nito, katulad kung paanong wala na siyang kawala sa pagiging asawa ni Kons. It was like a sentence... but if this is what it felt like to have one, then she doesn't mind having it for the rest of her life. They had each other for breakfast but now, it’s time to have real food. He told V to stay in bed and he will make their breakfast. Kons left with Lucian early in the morning and she was left with Georgina. Naabutan niya itong umiinom ng kape sa kusina. Her eyes were a little puffy, but still beautiful nonetheless. "I made some coffee. I hope you don't mind." Umiling siya. "I don't mind. Thanks for making coffee." Tahimik siyang naupo nang makakuha ng kape. Tsa sana ang iinumin niya pero dahil napuyat siya kagabi ay mas kailangan niya ang kape. Kons didn't touch her last night, and settled for just a hug. Nang maisip niya na isang tech si Georgina ay naglakas loob siyang hingin ang tulong nito. "You want me to take a look at your mom's cloud?" ulit ni Georgina sa sinabi niya. "She's an inventor, isn't she?" "Yes." Bago pa makapagkomento si Georgina ay inunahan niya na ito. "I know. Choosing to be a singer is very far from my mom's profession. My heart's just not in science." Napatawa si Georgina. "Hey, I'm not here to judge. It just surprised me that you didn't follow her footsteps. But then, I didn't either.

"Why is that?" tanong niya kay Georgina nang makaupo ito. She took a sip of water while waiting for their appetizers to be served. Nagtataka lang siya na iba ang tingin ni Georgina kay Damien kaagad kahit kakikilala pa lang nito sa lalaki. Wala naman siyang napansin na kakaiba sa paglapit nito. She thinks he was professional with his approach at ang pelikula na pagtatampukan niya ay pagbibidahan ng dalawang kilalang mga aktor at aktres. Her hand were trembling as she held the gun. She was even more worried for Georgina who is out there alone. Kons said Georgina was the most dangerous individual in the house but she is still a woman. She cannot stay put. She’s antsy. Sana ay hindi na lang niya tinanggap ang project kung alam niyang dito magaganap ang gulo. People were after her, but attacking her in broad daylight? She can’t remember how they managed to get home, but they did. Georgina drove while Damien followed them even though he was told not to. So they have to come up with a plan. They made a stop at a random hotel first, only to go out at the back exit as soon as they checked in. They did not even go up to the room. “How are you feeling?” Georgina did not look worried. Aside from a bit of dirt in her pants, she looked unharmed. However, Vanessa was visibly shaken. It was a close call. It was uneventful in the set. They were in the studio today and did not have to travel far. Sa bibig nahuhuli ang isda, and right now— Vanessa was that fish. It wasn't enough that she was trying to defend her ex, she didn't want to tell him what happened while they were apart. This is not exactly the welcome home greeting he was expecting from his wife. "Are you going to tell me or I have to interrupt Luc's time with his wife?" Hearing it from his wife's mouth made it even clearer for him that Damien has part in everything that's going on. Kahit hindi pa niya nakakausap si Georgina ay alam niyang pareho sila ng kutob. A couple more scenes needed to be done but not until a month or two later. Georgina had a battle of her own, and so did Lucian.
