Chapter 41Aurora's POV I shared a glance with my uncle as Matteo gave that piece of information. We had to act fast and help the man that was held captive by Matteo but I lacked ideas on how to do that. "That's really good to hear," I replied nervously and chewed my lips. Matteo scanned my face intently then placed his hand under my jaw. "You don't look as bright as I expected you to be. Aren't you happy that the man who tried to shoot you is in our custody?" "Sure, I'm happy." I replied and put on the brightest smile I could then I held his hand. "Thank you for being very concerned about me." He nodded in response then got up and walked to my uncle. "Who are you to her?" Uncle Lorenzo asked and I shook my head, pleading with him not to ask unnecessary questions. He was in Matteo's territory for Christ sake! Did he think that he could run his mouth as freely as he wanted? The fact that Matteo was being nice and calm with him was because he was my uncle, else, he'd have lo

Chapter 43Matteo's POV Some minutes later I was driving like a crazy person to my club where the torture room was situated. As a Capo I had to be calm at all times but the fact that someone had found a way to intrude into the room which was security tight got me worried. I arrived and parked recklessly, storming into the club and ignoring the greetings from the few workers that cared to greet me. They should have known by the stoic expression of my face and my clenched jaw that I could kill in the blink of an eye. Francesco stood at the door, his arms folded and his eyes glistening with disappointment. Of course I couldn't hurt him because he had been a loyal soldier and he would have been my best friend if I allowed myself to be less anti-social. "Where is he?" I rumbled, my voice dangerously low. Other people would have flinched at the tenacity of my tone but he was used to it. "He's been covered with a white linen. We were waiting for you to come before burning him," He

Chapter 45Aurora's POV His question nearly threw me aback but I took a deep breath and counted from one to ten before thinking of a good reply. Of course, there were several things I was hiding from him. The fact that I'd come with a mission to end his father's lineage or the fact that Giselle was my aunt, and I slowly entertained feelings that weren't supposed to be and ended up falling for him which in turn caused me to change my plans. "Matteo, I.." His dark stare stopped me abruptly as I lowered my lashes, pondering on what to say to him. I'd acted out of line and if I wasn't his girlfriend, he might have locked me up and treated me like he'd do to other offenders. "I don't want lies, Aurora. I want the truth." It wasn't possible for me to say the truth, at least not yet. Matteo would hate me for the rest of his life and I wouldn't be able to take it. "I'll tell you the truth, but I'm truly sorry for raising my hands on you. My parents were murdered when I was a chi

Chapter 47Aurora's POV "Huh? Make love? I don't think that's a good idea," I replied with a raspy voice but that made him more aggressive and then his eyes turned a darker shade than usual. I'd never seen Matteo like that before and for the first time, I was seeing the merciless side that everyone had whispered about. I might have liked it if he was in a better mood and in control of his temper, but now, it seemed like his demons had reined over his sense of reasoning. "You won't tell me what to do, Mamacita. I want to fvck you and that's exactly what will happen right now." He said brusquely, causing my eyes to turn misty. I wasn't ready for this at all, not with my health and my conflicting emotions. His hand roved around my bare front and the other, tugging at my pussy which clenched in fear and slight anticipation. Though I was scared, my body betrayed me by yearning for more of his aggressive touch, but I wouldn't have sex with him when he barely knew what was going on

Chapter 49Aurora's POV My heart pounded faster against my chest in anticipation of what was going to happen tonight. I stared at Matteo's warm expression and his eyes were filled with blazing passion, desire, lust and hunger. What thrilled me the most was that all the feelings were channeled towards me. He took off his shirt, his breasts and black nipples allured me. Though I hadn't been intimate with any man, it didn't stop me from doing my research and I got to know that a man could be aroused by merely playing with his nipples. His eyes followed where my attention was fixed on and he smiled after taking off my dress. Cold hit my bare body causing me to shiver slightly, and then he towered over me, bringing his nipples to my mouth. I took it in, sucking it like a candy amd swirling my tongue around the harder part so that he groaned in my ears and his hands reached for my ass. "If you keep doing that to me, I might forget my promise to be gentle." He said in a gruff voi
