~Hazel~"Leave her alone and don't you ever touch her again! Anyone who would ever lay a finger on her would have me to contend with."He said, his voice high and commanding that it made the soldiers shiver and they nodded their heads in fear. The soldiers turned around and disappeared into thin air. My eyes never left his, more tears flowed from my eyes because indeed I couldn't believe that Prince Luciano had come to my rescue. If it was like a sweet dream and I didn't want to wake up and face reality. I wanted to dream forever."Hazel."For the first time since I stepped foot in South, he called my name. His voice was deep and soothing and there was something that I couldn't decipher about how he called my name. The words rolled over his tongue so easily without making an effort.Does this mean he knew my name along along but he has been preventing as though he didn't know anything about me?"Prince…"I choked out, soft sobs escaping my lips because I couldn't believe that I was still

~Hazel~I blinked my sore eyes countless times to get rid of the blurry vision when the morning light hit my face. I groaned because my eyes were painful and tossed on the bed.I shot up because the bed was too comfortable compared to sleeping on the floor at grandpa's.That's when I recalled that I was in the prince's room. The room was empty and my eyebrows furrowed, before I could guess where the Prince had gone, the bathroom door clicked open and I couldn't help but turn my head towards it.A white towel was tied tightly around his waist, his shoulders-length hair was wet from the shower and it dripped water on his chest, making him look hot. Luciano looked more masculine while bare chested compared to when his clothes were on. The herbs were chiselled and deep.I imagined running my fingers over those abs.I swallowed hard when the thought popped into my head and I looked away.I didn't want to build castles in my head because it was crystal clear that we'll never have a thing beca

~Hazel~It has already been three days since Monalisa and I came back to the castle. We spent most of our time learning new skills like knitting to pass time since we hadn't gotten something important to do.The prince became to be busy, avoiding me at all costs and I didn't know what was going on with him because I couldn't think of something that I had done wrong that hurt him.I looked through the window and realised it was already evening, heaving a deep sigh, I placed the novel back on the bookshelf and decided to walk out of the library.Monalisa was sleeping when I walked into her room, so I didn't want to wake her up. That's why I decided to kill time in the library.Servants looked at me as I walked in the hallway but I didn't pay that much attention to them cause I'm used to their weird glances. My mind jolted back to the present when someone grabbed my hand roughly all of a sudden and pulled me into another corridor. My heart pounded wildly when I looked into those angry e

~Hazel~I blinked countless times to get rid of the blurry vision when the bright sunlight shined on my face mercilessly. I furrowed my brows and frowned, wondering how I got to my bed.If I could remember clearly,I fell asleep in the flower garden while talking to the prince.'So the prince brought me to my room, and laid me to my bed?'I couldn't help but question myself. My lips curved into a smile when the memories re-played in my head.I recalled the conversation that I had with him. The way I let out all my frustrations and complaint about how the moon goddess was so unfair to me. I'm quite sure that Luciano now thinks that I like complaining about everything."Damn it!"I cursed under my breath, why did I feel so comfortable talking to the prince? Someone who sent shivers down everyone's spine upon the mention of his name?I realised that the prince was not as scary as people made him seem to be. He was gentle and caring when you get to know him better. The thought of it made me re

~Luciano~She removed the necklace from her neck and placed it on my palm then closed it."This is a good luck necklace. It carries my mother's blessings. I believe it will help you win the case."She said and smiled at me."But it's precious to you. What if I lose it?"I reasoned out, "Yes it's precious but you need it for luck. I know you can take good care of it."She protested, stubborn like always."I wish you good luck."She said and wrapped her hand around me so tightly and I hugged her back so tightly."Luciano we need to get going. What are you…"Hades went quiet when he realised that Hazel was in my office. He looked at us with raised eyes and hazel wriggled from my arms."See you."She smiled at me and I smiled back. She greeted Hades on her way out.My beta turned too look at me,the corner of his lips curving into a wicked smile."Is something going between the two of you that I don't know?"He asked and a groan tore from my lips."Let's get going. It's getting late."I walked past my
