Lahat ng Kabanata ng It Started With The Hickeys: Kabanata 51 - Kabanata 60

"Ande...CEO Wright. Please, help Katherine. She cannot breathe. Miss Monticello has been assaulting us" Jessica, with tears in her eyes begs for help. Xander turned to the two figures in front of him and saw how Katherine Laeback's eyes begged for mercy. He doesn't know what transpired between Skye and the others. He is in a meeting and Collins just got a report about the commotion in the lobby, involving Skye. Looking at the cold fury in Skye's eyes surprised him. But he likes it. It is the kind of feistiness he wants from her. So, he was right, Skye has that grit. Despite having no one by her side, she could defend herself. He is mentally rejoicing. If not for the eyes watching and expecting him to do something, he would wait to what extent Skye would do to Katherine Laeback. "CEO Wright, please" the women begs upon seeing their manager already about to faint. He heard their plea and saw their panic but he did nothing yet. He watches in fascination though his face reveals nothin

"If there's a bitch in this place, it's you, Jessica Straus"Jessica was too stunned to react. The gentlest woman everyone knows just slapped her. A strong one. Her cheeks painfully throb and her neck almost snaps but she is too stupefied to whimper. The lobby is in total silence after the loud gasps that erupted earlier. Everyone hasn't seen it coming. The most gentle soul in the Wright family has bared her fangs and it's quite sharp. "You're worried your cheeks are swollen for the shoot? Well, don't bother. There will be no shoot for you ever again" Lexie, with the same venomous contempt as Jessica had earlier, coldly mutters. Katherine gasps in panic while her eyes snap at Jessica before averting to the furious matriarch. She fears the implications of her words. Everyone has the same response, especially Divine and the other models. Their minds are screaming in panic but no words are uttered. All are too stunned to speak. "Auntie?" Jessica quivers while cupping her face. "Do

Days after Skye's revelation, she again visited the CEO's office. This time she doesn't need to feign work just to see him. Something is bothering her mind and she needs a distraction. But only Xander could distract her, so despite not wanting to be seen with him at an office hour, she went up to see him. "Good afternoon, Miss Skye" The staff immediately greeted her except for Nathalie who just watched her walk out of the elevator."Good afternoon" With a polite smile, she greeted back but ignored the woman with a sour face at the front desk. She has no time to bicker with anyone since her sickness is starting to surface again. Since morning, she has not been feeling well. Walking straight to the CEO's office, no one stopped her as she directly entered without knocking. But found it empty. After slowly closing the door, she leans at it while inhaling deeply. The air inside the office smells of him and it calms her senses. She walked to his desk and stared at it for a moment. He

"Where is Dharma?" Xander softly asks while they are snuggled in bed. Hugging her from behind, he felt how she stiffen. Even if he won't be getting a response, he can almost infer by her reaction. "We have identified the presence of Dharma residents in Austine City since the start of this week" he added while she remained quiet. "Dharma has never been irrational. All countries have respected the boundaries they have set for all of us. And they've been respectful. We are fine with tourists or jobseekers from Dharma but the unusual entry of groups is putting us in a defensive situation" he carefully discussed despite not having a response from her. There was silence after she still refused to speak. He waited, giving her time to contemplate her words. But after a while of her silence, he heaves a sigh. "Do we have a reason to be alarmed, Skye? Do we need to raise our defense against Dharma?" "No. They mean no harm" After her long silence, Skye spoke. "Was this the reason why you'

"I'm sorry I forgot my manners. Vittorio Di Lauro, IV. Nice meeting you all"As the name came out from his lips carved with an ominous smile, warning bells started to violently ring in everyone's heads. Lucien's face darkened together with the rest. Alek remained stiff on his feet with his intense gaze boring at the old man. Wright security rounded Levinia and the others in front. All the Petrov are on their feet scattered together with all their men. Wright security rounded the strangers.Xander swiftly pulled Skye close to him, hugging her with her back against the Di Lauro. Yes, they are her people but he is clueless of their intention in coming without prior notice. Until he knows their motives, he will protect Skye from them. The rest of the guests tense and like what the Wrights did, they secure their women close to their sides. Every prominent businessman in the room has somehow encountered the name Di Lauro in the business world. And the name itself brought spine-chilling f
