Next day Mrs. Rossi was sitting in the garden when she noticed Isabella was going out somewhere. “Izzy.” She called out and Isabella stopped and turned to find her sitting there. Isabella was trying to avoid the Rossi as much as possible so Mrs. Rossi didn’t get a chance to talk with her. But now when she was taking the initiative to call her she can’t avoid it, can she? So she walked toward her. “Hello, Mrs. Rossi.” Isabella has always respected these women. Though she has been living here with her mom as a daughter of a servant, this lady has always treated her well and also made her feel at home. Whenever she used to face a problem that was out of her mom’s capacity, she was always there to help. Unless those men inside the mansion can’t even bear her sight. She didn’t understand what happened yesterday, though. As Leonardo Rossi was watching her there was something deep, and dark. She couldn’t understand. But it made a shiver run through her body. But when she served hi

When Isabella returned to her room, she was worried sick. There was no way she could join Leonardo’s office as his secretary. But how could she refuse Alicia? She was requesting so earnestly. And she was bound to repay them. If only Alessandro didn’t have a bad impression of her and didn’t think of her as a gold digger! Isabella sighed and sat on her bed anxiously. “Isabella, where were you? I was searching for you.” Nia entered with a tray and Isabella looked at her. “I have made some pizza and wanted someone to share with. After all, what can be better than watching a movie while eating pizza with your friend?” Nia sat beside her and put the pizza dragging a coffee table in front of her bed. “Come, I have prepared your favorite coffee.” Nia placed the cup, but Isabella was lost in her thought. “What happened?” Nia asked when she noticed Isabella didn’t jump on her coffee. “Mam Alicia wants me to join Rossi corporation as Mr. Rossi’s secretary,” Isabella said and Nia choked

“What?” Isabella asked scared. She wanted to run away, noticing an unfamiliar gaze Leo. She couldn’t understand why he was looking at her like this. But there was something dark, deep in his eyes which was scaring Isabella. “I said, don’t you deserve punishment for coming late? You are almost three hours late from the office time.” Leo said this time with a calm tone while looking at his watch. “Sorry, sir. Actually, I couldn’t decide what to do. I didn’t want to…” Isabella was hesitating to finish her words. “You didn’t want to join our company? It’s not like we are going to eat you. Why are you so tensed?” Leo asked. Isabella wanted to scream and say to his face, it’s not him she feared at this moment as much as she was dreading the consequence when Alessandro will know about her. “What work I will have to do?” Isabella wanted to divert his mind and he let him. “Come, let me brief you.” Leonardo patiently explain to her everything and after showing Isabella her desk he went

Isabella was packing her things as it was time to return home.Today the day was hectic, she didn’t know Rossi has so many projects ongoing, and now when she was dealing with Leonardo’s work she was really appreciating his capabilities. How could someone handle so many things alone? He was really a superman of business.Only he wouldn’t have such a scary demeanor and didn’t wear this poker face all around. Not only is his face cold is also bitter like the black coffee he takes almost every hour.If someone takes so many bitter things, he is bound to become this bitter.Only if she could she would have served him the coffee with lots of milk and sugar how she likes. Then he would have known how heavenly this drink can be.Seeing her taking this black coffee, she was getting nauseous every day.It was her time to inform Leo and then she can go.Maybe he would want his coffee again like every day.Isabella knocked on his room, and Leo looked up from his laptop.“Do you need another coffe

Though she wanted to ignore his gaze, it was making her uncomfortable. So she tried to start talking to change the atmosphere. “Why you wanted to have dinner with me? I mean why this cooking spree?” Isabella asked as this was bugging her mind. “Why? Didn’t you like my cooking?” He asked back, ignoring my question. “No, it’s good. I mean it’s one of the best meals I have had in my life.” she couldn’t deny it. Yes, her mom is a good cook, and she also has tasted different types of food in New York, but his pasta was really praiseworthy. “I know.” He replied with a proud smile. Cocky much. “But it’s not a normal occurrence, right? I mean you are my boss and I am just a mere secretary. My boss is cooking for me and I am having dinner sitting with him, here alone. It doesn’t sound good.” She said truthfully. Leo didn’t look like the dominant alpha male sitting here in his oh-so-relaxed form. So she also tried to try her luck.
