As soon as Emmett left the house; Simone felt relieved. She overheard a bit of what he was arguing on the phone. It had something to do with attaining an interview with Leona Simmons. Without giving it a second thought; she quickly left Emmett’s room and rushed to hers.Pulling out Leona’s mobile from her top draw; Simone messaged her manager Angela to set up the interview. However, she would only do either as a phone interview or answer their questions via email. She also stipulated Emmett was the only one allowed to conduct the interview. ‘This should help him’ she thought to herself. The other stipulation was the interview needed to be done today. ‘If he is not home; I won’t have to explain about Leona’s mobile and someone calling me on it’ she thought.Sensing another problem if Emmett was going to conduct a phone interview, she quickly messaged Tiffany to come over to her house and promptly gave her the address. Once done, she placed the mobile on charge, noticing it was down to

After the interview; Emmett decided to stay around the office until the final draft was completed for his interview with Leona Simmons. ‘If I am going to put my name on the interview; I want to make sure it is done properly’ he says to himself.Even though he was only away for a few days; there was a lot of work to catch up with. Busying himself into his work while he waited; a message comes through on Emmett’s phone.Smiling at the screen, seeing the message was from Simone; he quickly hits the call button. “Are you missing me?” Emmett asks when she answers the phone.“No” her playful tone comes through the receiver. “I just wanted to know if I should cook dinner for you or not.”“I’m finishing up the final draft of the interview. I will come home once it’s done” Emmett tells her; noting to punish her for toying with him. ‘That’s twice she needs to be punished’ he grins to himself with all the different ways he was going to enjoy her punishment. “I shouldn’t be too long.”“Ok. I’m ma

Simone woke up the next morning; her pelvic and abdominal muscles were sore. ‘It will get better eventually; won’t it?’ she asks herself. She is enjoying the intimacy she is sharing with Emmett. She didn’t know if the sore muscles would always be a part of the deal. ‘We did have sex twice last night. That could be why’ she states; smiling at what had happened. She rolls over to face Emmett; to find he is not in bed. Getting out of bed; she quickly goes to the bathroom and heads out to the living room to see where he disappeared to.Hearing Emmett yell “Fuck” from the kitchen; Simone heads there to investigate. Walking through the doorway; Emmett is at the kitchen counter with several pieces of burnt toast sitting next to the toaster. Moving over to him; she puts her arms around his waist.“I hope you like your toast; extra charred” he huffs, throwing another two pieces onto the pile.“What are you doing?” Simone asks, trying to hold in her laughter. ‘He’s so sweet; pretending he can c

Sitting alone in the house, while Emmett went off to work the following morning; Simone didn’t know what to do with herself. She thought through her options. ‘Leona has been neglecting her obligations. Maybe I need to catch up with some of her emails.’Moving to the spare room; she pulls out the laptop and phone before heading back out to the living area. Opening her emails; the invitation to banquet was staring her in the face. ‘Since Emmet is being sent out of town; should I go to the banquet? It’s to raise money for the children’s hospital’ Simone contemplates to herself. There was a confirm here button on the email and Simone was hesitant to hit it. “What’s wrong with me? I have never been tentative in accepting or declining an invitation before” she murmurs under her breath. She decides to give the idea some more thought before making the final decision and moves to the next email; displaying gowns for the upcoming winter collection from Lively Design Studio. As she was scrolling

Stepping out of the SUV; Leona looks both ways down the street before heading into the Lively Design Studio. She didn’t see the dark-haired man standing in the shadows, watching her every move. “Good; she got to the designers safely” Emmett says, moving away from the side of the building.“Emmett” Tiffany squeals; looking perplexed on what he was doing there.“Oh… Umm… Hi Tiff” Emmett manages to get out; pissed off with himself for getting caught. “Fancy meeting you here.”“Are you following Simone?” Tiffany questions, giving him a glaring look. ‘I told her she should tell him about Leona’ she screeches to herself.“I can explain” Emmett murmurs, putting his hands up in front of him showing what he was doing was innocent as Vince comes over to them. “I needed to make sure Simone goes to the banquet as Leona and not her.”Shocked he was aware Simone and Leona were the same person; Tiffany narrows her eyes at Emmett.
