The party

CHAPTER ONE"C'mon, sweetness. This dress is perfect for the party." Chief Onapuruagu's smile teased. "Let me feed you this piece of cake." "I feel like the dress is too much..I feel like the Cinderella Princess." Coco said. His mouth curled at the term. "Cinderella? It's perfect, okay?" Coco frowned. "Fine, but the second it gets uncomfortable I'm changing." He laughed at her ill temper and mood swing, as if she amused him. "Agreed." Chief Onapuruagu reseated himself. Six months had passed and not so much has changed in Dirty South. Vanilla cake pops, bagel buffet, casserole, spinach and cheese strata, smoked salmon and cream cheese pastries, candied smoked chipotle bacon, crockpot potatoes and exclusive wine bottles from Chief Onapuruagu's newly opened wine company were arranged for Coco's party. Coco Kaave Ray is heavily pregnant and almost due. In the last months, her doctor had warned her to be extremely careful as she suffered pre-eclampsia in her first trimester. It to

Too comfortable

CHAPTER TWOCoco opened her eyes tiredly and gazed at the pop ceiling, trying to sit up. She looked around and although her vision was a blurr, she could see Chief Onapuruagu standing with Doctor Tate, Mrs Claudia, and Brandy in her bedroom. They were all staring at her. She tried to speak but the words didn't come out. She looked into the eyes - she could see the sympathy in all four of them. "Did my son survive?" She asked bluntly. All the pity in their eyes meant something, she knew the answer to her question, their eyes already ratted them out. Tate cleared his throat, moving closer to her. "Coco, I'm sorry but I had to perform a D & C to remove the remains of the baby so you'd live. Chief consented to it.. but the good news is that your womb is still intact and you can.." Coco fell back on the bed. "Everyone please leave, I want to be alone." She turned to face the wall. Chief Onapuruagu signaled everyone to leave. When they had left reluctantly, he took a step forward. "Doc

Sexy green

CHAPTER THREELarissa held a bottle of Sexy green in her palms, staring dreamily at it. Wow! Life just got better. She still couldn't believe she was now dining at the Kaave's mansion, flying in and out of the states, now, drinking the most expensive wine in Dirty South. Looking into the pool, Larissa winked at Georgianna, whom was taking a dive into the large pool. The two best friends were cruising by the pool in Chief Kaave's mansion. "Having fun, yeah?" Georgianna asked, swimming towards Larissa."This wine is the best I've had all my life," Larissa emptied a glass. "Ummmm.. giving the white feels." "That Chief Onapuruagu is good to an extent in wine production," Georgianna stepped out of the pool, walking to the area where two masseurs stood professionally, waiting to render services. She eyed them. "You came highly recommended, don't disappoint yourselves." She said. Both friends were now having a massage. From their body language and expressions, they were sure having a

Rat the rogue

CHAPTER FOUROut of long habit, Chief Onapuruagu held his sunglasses loosely between his fingers, he propped his hands on his hips. He was in his study room at his mansion, trying to go through the CCTV footage. He shrugged his broad shoulders, It was actually painful. His grin personified wickedness as he thought of the rogue that killed his son. He shook his head at himself, staring blindly."It'll be slow, but painful.." He tilted his head to say, his voice a rough purr. He emptied his cup of coffee and tossed aside the cup. He argued with himself for several more minutes before the silence stretched out to an uncomfortable outburst. The footages were tampered with. They were missing clips from three days to the gender reveal party and on deal day."Fuck shit up.." He muttered, his mouth curling in amusement. "Fuck shit up!" Alarmed, his right hand man, Bullet, moved closer to him. "Chief?" "Someone tampered with the CCTV footages.." Chief Onapuruagu glared into Wave's eyes, r

Kuje Island

CHAPTER FIVEShielding her eyes from the glaring streetlights, The Albino twin brothers approached from across the street. Coco knew she stood more in the shadows than the lights.Razor, her new right hand man on the island turned back to her. "Now who could this be?" The Albino twin brothers; Black Albino and Thee Albino were the highest spies in Dirty South.Razor asked too quickly, showing his urgency, and Coco gave him a speculative stare. Trying to offset his reaction, he looked away, hoping to look nonchalant. The Albino twin brothers marched towards them, somehow looking twice Razor's size, and twice as threatening. Coco stepped out to the lightning, so they could better see her and talk. They were at a street in Kuje Island. Kuje Island belonged to Coco, she had recently acquired it, legally, but without anyone being aware it was hers. Even Chief Onapuruagu and Brandy was not aware. This was her safe haven. The Albino twin brothers weren't looking at her. They stared at

Running

CHAPTER SIX"Heya!" Bullet yelled, glaring at three of Chief Onapuruagu's social workers. "Trying to run, huh?" Ruby, the assistant cook shook her head, shakily. "No.." Bullet shot a look at Tom, the chief security. "He's lying..." Ruby said. "I wasn't trying to escape from the mansion, I was only..." She stuttered. "I was...I..." Tears broke from her eyes, rolling down her cheeks to the lace blouse she was in. Bullet scoffed. "You were?" He took a step closer to her. "You were trying to cook around the back gate, dressed in mufti..you prolly hired these two as your personal assistant.." He looked at the the cleaner and gardener. The trio were on their knees. Ruby, the gardener and one of the cleaners had tried to escape from Chief Onapuruagu's mansion, unluckily, Tom saw them from the CCTV camera. "Chief will be most delighted to hear this," Bullet stretched his chest. "Please have mercy on us, I didn't poison Coco...we only tried to escape because we were scared we'd be pun

Call 919

CHAPTER SEVEN Chief Onapuruagu hurried the supervision of the club house at Kaave D'Castle, then headed with Bullet, Wave and four other of his boys to his helicopter. Wave led and gave the directions. "Kuje Island?" Chief Onapuruagu asked, shooting Wave a glance. "What are we doing on Kuje Island? This is someone's private property and I can't remember stating that I was interested in acquiring the Island." "Have you ever thought of whom the owner of this Island is?" Wave questioned. "Not interested.." Chief Onapuruagu ran his fingers through his hair. "Wave, why did you bring me to an Island?" "You asked me to find your wife, yeah?" Wave reached for cigarettes in his pockets. "Coco is on this Island?" Chief Onapuruagu looked around. "Coco owns the Island.." Wave chuckled. Impressed for once, there was news Chief Onapuruagu wasn't aware of. "And she's presently here.." Chief Onapuruagu looked round the Island in doubt. It was heavily guarded. On his instructions, their hel
