Chapter 41
As the sun rises, its gentle rays paint the sky in hues of soft pink and orange, casting a warm glow over the world below. Dewdrops glisten like diamonds on blades of grass, while birds chirp melodiously, filling the air with their sweet symphony. The air is crisp and fresh, carrying the scent of blooming flowers and earthy foliage. In the distance, mountains stand majestically, their peaks kissed by the first light of dawn. It's a tranquil scene, inviting one to pause and savour the serenity of a new day dawning. Derrick held my waist as I rode him slowly. Straddling my legs around his waist, he rested his hands on my butt. I couldn't control my moans. The feel of him inside me was divine. He kissed me hungrily, and slowly trailed his kisses down to my neck. His tongue came to a stop on my breasts. He feasted on my nipples as I held the back of his head like I was intoxicated. I moaned with each stroke as he shoved his way inside me. I was panting hard. He fucked my b

Chapter 42
Derrick crumpled a piece of paper and flung it across the throne room. I picked it up in curiosity, wondering what it could be. It was a threat letter, from the vampires. They were coming for us. They were coming for war. A move no other fortress had tried in centuries. Even before the time of the late alpha. They all feared Derrick, they knew how powerful he was. The knew he could eliminate them all at once without doing much. Why would they be bold enough to send a threat letter. They probably had a strong backing or something we did not posses. “Are you all right?.” I asked in concern going close to him. I sat beside him gently and placed my hand on his shoulder. “I'm fine.” He lied. I could tell when Derrick was lying, his voice would become subtle“You're not.” I insisted. “ I said I'm fine, just let me be.” He replied again, slightly raising his voice. I left angrily. I laid on the bed, thinking about how we may have wronged the vampires, or what connection we could possibl

Chapter 43
The castle halls were dark and cold, the wind whistling through the cracks in the stone walls. The torches burned low, casting a weak light that did little to dispel the shadows. I shivered as I walked, my breath coming out in small clouds of mist. I could hear my footsteps echoing in the silence, and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. The castle felt like a living thing, its dark eyes watching me as I moved through its corridors. I felt a sense of foreboding, like something was about to happen, something I wouldn't be able to escape. The palace was quiet and chilly, everyone had gone to bed except me. I was going to raid Derrick's study. I was looking for the Dycan chronicles. The book that only existed in myths. The writer remains unknown. The book Mad dog had told me about. It contained the story of notable key figures in Dycan; including my father. Perhaps it could tell me what happened to my mother. Dycan was the only pack with two packs existing together with no pack b

Chapter 44
The day was glum. The temperature outside was almost turning into a snowstorm. I and Derrick made love all night long. I was worried about him, I had no idea why. I watched him get into his clothes and fasting his sword into his sheath. He's weakness wasn't silver. swords had no effect on him it would take a lifetime to come across a dragon so he was good. I stood up and walked towards him. He drew me close and held my waist. Our tounges intertwined in a hot kiss. He kissed me one last time and slowly let go of me. My eyelids dilated in worry as I placed my hand on his shoulder. “Good luck.” I wished him sadly. I didn't want him to leave. I sincerely wished there was no war. ‘Don't worry my love, I'll be fine.” He tried to reassure me, but I didn't take his word for it. I was still worried. “I'll be back before you know it.”“Okay, I'll be waiting.” “Everything will finally be over.” “Okay, I'll be waiting.”“ We'll take the vampires by surprise in their kingdom.” “Everything will go

Chapter 46
The snow storm had reduced. As I stand amidst the swirling snowflakes on the desolate battlefield, my heart pounds with a mixture of dread and anticipation. The bitter cold bites at my skin, but it is nothing compared to the icy grip of fear that clenches my heart as I scan the horizon for any sign of my father. And then, amidst the white expanse, I see him. His once proud figure is now hunched and weary, his armor battered and stained with the blood of fallen comrades. Every step he takes seems to sap what little strength he has left, and my chest tightens with a sense of helplessness.Tears blur my vision as I watch him draw closer, his breath forming frosty clouds in the frigid air. His face, once a portrait of strength and determination, is now etched with lines of pain and exhaustion. Yet, in his eyes, I see a flicker of something familiar – love, undying and unwavering, even in the face of death. "Daddy," I call out, my voice trembling with emotion as I rush to mee

Chapter 47
I moved over to where Derrick laid in pain. His skin was pale, his lips were dry and his eyes looked tired. He was trying to get past the shock of what he had heard. He was trying to overcome the feeling of betrayal he had felt. I had lost my voice and the strength to cry. I believed I was in a dream state and I was going to wake up soon. Then everything would be back to normal. “I need to get you treated.” “Let's go home.” I said, trying to help him up. He held my hand and made me sit beside him.” It didn't hurt.” He swallowed back the emotions in his voice. The wound doesn't hurt, the thought of Mad dog holding the knife hurts more.” He said. I was moved to tears. “They say time heals our wounds but I disagree.” “It heals nothing, you just learn to live with the pain.” I sobbed, my whole body convulsed in tears as I wondered how I was supposed to live without my father. Where was I going to start? “ I've lost my dad, my love, I can't lose you too.” “There must be s

The wind howled fiercely. The bitter cold seeps into my bones as I lie in the snow beside my father's lifeless body. The world around me is silent, save for the mournful howl of the wind as it whips through the barren trees. I can feel the weight of exhaustion pressing down upon me, dragging me deeper into the icy embrace of despair. My father lies beside me, his once vibrant eyes now dulled by the chill of death. His face is peaceful, as if he is merely sleeping, but I know the truth – he is gone, lost to me forever. Tall and imposing, with a commanding presence that demands attention, he carries himself with an air of arrogance and entitlement. Chapter 50
As I approach the looming silhouette of the vampire castle, its ancient stone walls rise defiantly against the backdrop of the moonlit sky. The air is thick with a sense of foreboding, yet I am undeterred, my steps echoing against the cobblestone path leading to the imposing gates. Towering spires pierce the darkness, their jagged edges reaching towards the heavens like claws of some long-forgotten beast. Despite the chilling atmosphere, I am unafraid, my curiosity driving me forward into the heart of the legendary fortress. As I pass through the grand entrance, the shadows seem to dance around me, whispering tales of centuries past. Though the castle may hold secrets untold and dangers unseen, I am resolute, and ready to kill. My black cape swayed with the wind as I walked into the castle leisurely like it was my playground. I was no primordial, but I possessed a power so strong that I found it hard to keep under control at times. “Cease her!!!!.” A vampire screamed. They all came a
