Chapter 31: Premarital Agreement and Marriage Contract
The next day, Amy woke up with Samuel next to her. He still wrapped his arms around her waist, as if he wanted to show his possessiveness, even in his sleep. She wriggled, trying to let go of his arms, but his grip was tight. When she took a deep breath, wondering if she must wake him or remove his arms, a kiss on her shoulder stopped her. “Good morning, my sweet.” “Good morning, my husband-to-be.” She giggled and turned around so she could stare at his eyes. “I need to go to the bathroom.” “Okay, but don’t be too long. I still want to lie next to you.” He released his arms that caged her body. Amy rushed to the bathroom, then when she finished and wanted to go back to the bed, she gasped to see the hickeys everywhere. Amy hadn’t worn her clothes yet, so in her nudity, she could see everything. She returned to the bed and pouted. “Samuel, look what you’ve done!” “What?” He took her hand and pulled her so she sat on the bed. “The hickeys! Oh, how can I meet your grandma today

Chapter 32: Visiting Jillian
After the lawyer left the apartment, Amy hugged Samuel. Her eyes sparked with tears because she was happy that he fulfilled his promise to her. “Hey, why are you crying?” Samuel wiped her tears. “I’m too happy. You truly did as you said.” He shrugged. “I told you, I would do it. Now, let’s go to visit my grandma. But I must call her first, in case she isn’t at home.” “Darling, can we visit the hospital first before we go to your grandma’s house? It’s been two days I didn’t see Jillian.” “Sure!” Samuel nodded. “Don’t worry.” “I’ll change my clothes first.” Amy walked to her room. Waiting for Amy to change her clothes, Samuel called Vivian. Soon, his grandmother picked up the phone. “Samuel? I’m so happy you called.” “Grandma, remember I asked you to pray for me about my future wife? I already proposed to her, and she said yes.” “Oh, Samuel! What great news! When will you come with my future granddaughter-in-law?” “We plan to go today if you are at home.” “Yes, I can’t

Chapter 33: Visiting Grandma
Samuel kissed Amy’s forehead, and after waiting for her to calm, he stared at her. “Ready to meet my grandma?” She took a deep breath. “Give me a minute to wash my face.” Then Amy went to the bathroom, cleaning her face from the tears. After splashing water a few times on her face and neck, she was better. When she left the bathroom, Amy saw Samuel stand beside Jillian’s bed. He tidied her sister’s hair. Her steps stopped. “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of you and your sister. No one will hurt both of you again.” He smiled a little. “It’s strange that the hardship brought your sister to me, but maybe it’s fate. I won’t let her go unless she asks me. This I can promise you.” Samuel took a deep breath. “She loves you so much until she sacrificed herself for you. So, please regain your consciousness soon, my future sister-in-law.” Amy shed her tears again. Then she went back to the bathroom and wept. Afterward, she hurried to wash her face again. A knock on the door startled her. “Yes?

Chapter 34: The Truth
Vivian observed Amy and frowned, as it was obvious Amy was still so young. She patted the seat next to her. “Come, sit here. I won’t bite you.” Amy smiled and nodded. “Yes, Mrs. Hoffner. I know Samuel only joked about the bite and bark.” “The naughty boy has never stopped teasing me,” Vivian grumbled, but she laughed, as it was a common teasing between her and her grandson. “So, Miss Brooke, Amy, I will call you Amy. Miss Brooke is too mouthful to me. I will ask you some questions. Please answer me honestly.” “Yes, Mrs. Hoffner, please call me Amy. I will answer your questions honestly.” “How old are you, and how did you meet my grandson?” “I’m twenty, almost twenty-one. I met Samuel for the first time at his restaurant, but the real meeting was a few days ago.” Amy blushed, knowing that she only spent a few days with Samuel, but she already felt close to him as if she had known him for years. “Good, you answered me truthfully. Amy, wait, Brooke? Do you know Peter and Melanie Br

Chapter 35: The Flash Marriage
Samuel approached Vivian and Amy. He frowned to see the stain of tears on Amy’s face. “Grandma, what did you say to Amy? You didn’t scold her, did you?” “Naughty boy, sit and drink the tea first. You talked too much.” Vivian pointed at the table. He shrugged and caressed Amy’s hand. “Did Grandma scare you? What did she tell you?” “Samuel, I’m still here,” Vivian protested. “Grandma, what did you say to my fiancee? No matter what you think, I’ll marry her. She may already be pregnant with my baby, Grandma. Considering I enjoy being with her so much. She satisfies me.” Amy covered his mouth with a hand and shook her head. “Samuel, don’t say that! Grandma has already agreed for us to marry.” “Oh? Then why did you cry?” He stared at Amy, then at Vivian. “She was sad to tell me about the unfortunate events. From the loss of her parents, the betrayal of her ex-fiance, and then the blocked credit card by the bank. Also, her uncle’s misdeed,” Vivian said, sighing and shaking her head,

Chapter 36: The Trip
Amy nodded. “But we only have three days.” “It’s enough. We can go there again next time.” He kissed Amy’s lips and let his lips linger there. “What do you think?” “Okay.” “Good! Because I don’t want to have a debt.” “What debt?” “I offered you to go to Paris. So, it’s a debt to me.” Amy giggled and hugged Samuel’s neck. “Oh, husband, you don’t cease to amaze me.” “Do I?” “Uh-huh.” Then Samuel started unzipping her dress and kissed her body. “Then I’m happy to know that.” They spent the trip by making love in the limousine. After doing it twice, Samuel offered a small towel to Amy. “It’s time to get dressed again.” Amy wiped her body with the towel and put on her dress again. He took the towel from Amy’s hand and put it in a plastic bag for the maids to wash. Samuel turned Amy’s body so her back faced him and zipped her dress. “You can put lipstick and powder on your face,” he said. So, she checked her face through a small mirror in her compact powder case. Her lipstick

The staff from HP (Hoffner Paris) Hotel where they would stay already waited for them. Since Samuel was the owner of the most luxurious hotel, the staff knew him well. “Do you want to go to the hotel, sir?” the staff asked in French. “Yes, please,” Samuel replied in French too. The staff asked the driver to send Samuel and Amy to the hotel. The driver nodded and smiled at Samuel, then greeted Amy in English, though his French accent was strong. “Welcome to Paris, madam. Congratulations on your wedding, sir, madam.” “Thank you, Pierre,” Samuel said. The driver grinned, quite happy to know Samuel still remembered his name. Then he raised the partition to give Samuel and Amy privacy. “How did you know our driver's name?” Amy raised her eyebrow. “The hotel where we will stay is one of my family's hotel networks. So, the staff who waited for us and also our driver are my employees.” “Ah! No wonder.” But then she smiled and patted his hand. “But how many hotels do you have so

Chapter 38: Paris and Some Questions
The following day, Amy woke up because her husband kissed her neck and body. She giggled and sighed, as she was still sleepy, but Samuel was persistent and teased her without mercy. After making love with her, he gave a kiss on the lips. “Good morning, Wife. It’s such a lovely day to wake up with my pretty wife.” He kissed her neck again. “Good morning, Husband. Yes, it is. Let me get up first.” Samuel sat and offered his hand to Amy, then pulled her until she was in a sitting position. “Since our time is limited, and tomorrow, we must already go home, I planned today for us to visit Eiffel and have a cruise on the Seine River. We will have lunch on the cruise ship too.” Amy nodded. “It sounds exciting.” He placed her until her back was on his chest and hugged her from behind. “I wonder if I exhausted you too much.” She blushed and put her hand on his thigh. “Yes, you did, but I’m not complaining. As long as you are faithful to me, I’ll try to do anything you want.” Samuel ben

Though at first Amy didn’t want to do it outside, he could convince her that as they were in the highest level of the hotel, no one would see them. It was a blissful moment for them. The next day, Amy couldn’t walk because of the exhaustion. He promised to carry her to the car whenever they would return home. But after taking a nap for a few hours, Amy recovered and could walk side by side with Samuel to the limousine. Reporters kept chasing them because it was huge news for them. Amy already went to hand in her resignation letter. Miguel drove her to her workplace. Samuel called the detective to send the evidence he had right away. When the courier sent a thin folder, he tipped the man a hundred dollars and rushed to bring the folder to his working room. Opening the folder, he read one by one. After finishing reading it all, he took a deep breath, thinking about what steps he would do to ensure the highest revenge impact. Then he called John Beck, the lawyer. “Mr. Beck, it’s Samuel Hoffner. I recently married Amy Brooke. I believe her late parents were your clients.” “Mr. Hoffner, yes, it’s true. I’m still their lawyer. In fact, Mr. Tom Brooke continues using my service as a lawyer for the Jewelry Palace.” Samuel grinned. Rubbing his chin, he continued, “I see. I wonder if you can meet me at a cafe an hour from now? I have something to discuss with you, and I will send the address by text.” “Sure, Mr. Hoffner, I will gladly meet you there.” “See you so
