Grace's POVHere I was in club XL, now dancing with the man I was asked to sleep with. He had this dangerous aura that caused me to be on my toes. He is devilishly handsome, he kissed the nape of my neck as I danced with him, my mind was blank by his touch.Gosh! I tried to distract myself as I looked around.I see why we were not allowed to visit the club by mother, even when father did. The place was stuffy and noisy, and I just couldn't see anything good about it.Half-naked girls walking around, kissing and rocking men. Some girls were also doing so with other girls, I couldn't be more disgusted. The moment I entered the club, as instructed by the kidnapper, I made my way to the bar and took two shots of alcohol immediately. He was kind enough to explain that it would boost my confidence, so much for boosting because now I can't see or reason properly anymore. Even though he had said four, I could only take two small glasses.I sat there at the bar, feeling tipsy when a man walked

Grace's POVSitting down at the pharmacy, I waited calmly for the result of the test I did a while ago. I have been so sick since the incident, it's been three weeks, but I still couldn't get the night off my head. It was the most horrible night of my life. It haunted me day and night. My Caroline, that beast, that bastard still took her away from me.On getting home that morning, I saw the crowd in front of my apartment. When I got there, I saw my sweet little girl on the ground cold with a bullet in-between her eyes. Her eyes wide open in fear.“Caroline!” I screamed, throwing the shoes in my hands away to run to her, ignoring the pain in-between my legs. I grabbed her and pulled her into me as I cried. There was blood everywhere, staining the white sleeveless round neck top I had taken from the man. “Help! Somebody help me!” I screamed, my voice cracked from the screaming I had done from last night's torture or pleasure, I don't know.No matter how I screamed, everyone remained whe

Grace's POVHere I am on my way back to the place I dread a lot. I sat there in the plane praying for God's help, his protection, and his strength because I was losing it. Thinking of the same murderer with my innocent and lovely daughter, I could only panic. Why do I feel no matter what, he would still kill her?A tear fell from my eye again, I have been crying for the past five hours since I knew that Helen was kidnapped. By morning, I should be back in New York, I'll go to Davis, and I don't care if he kills me as far as he finds my daughter for me.I couldn't sleep the whole night, my heart was beating so fast, as I shifted restlessly in the plane. How did the beast find me? I've been hiding here in a foreign country for the past five years and he still finds me? How powerful was this man?"Madam" I jerked only to see a hostess beside me, "I'm sorry to scare you, ma'am, would you like a drink?" I shook my head negatively before positioning myself well again on the chair, "Ar

Davis's POVSitting in front of the man whose hands had been spread on the table, two of his fingers gone, I puffed the smoke out of my mouth.“Pussy” I murmured a curse at him when I saw him cry like a little child when he saw the axe raised high ready to strike like the first two times. I don't forgive those who steal, lie or betray me. I am twenty steps ahead, so there's nothing these fuckers would do behind my back that I wouldn't know about. I don't joke, I hate jokes, or else I'm the one telling it.“Down” The sharp axe immediately dropped down on his finger and another loud scream rang through the room we were at. I dragged the cigarette in between my lips, only to puff it out on his face. “No one fuck with me and lives,” I reminded the fucker before pulling out my phone and picking up the call. “Vincent” “Don, we have Grace Daniel” and my lips twist, how's that possible after how many years?“You found her” I murmured under my breath as my eyes darkened. I've been waitin

Grace's POV“No… please, let me come with you!” I screamed, but no matter how I screamed, no one cared to look back. I cried some more as I went back to the corner of the cell to pray. I prayed and hoped he would find her and save her. I need my baby girl to be saved. If there is anyone that can save her right now, it is Davis. He is the only one, and what happened just shows that it was one of his enemies who was playing a trick on him using me. Why do I have to be involved in this? My cheeks were stained with tears again, what has been going on since I knew Helen was kidnapped. My heart was beating so hard in my chest and rapidly too, but I could only let out hiccups.Just then, I heard the sounds of footsteps and I stood up immediately. Rushing towards the cell gate, “Hey, where is your boss? Where is Davis?” The man didn't respond to me, instead, he opened the gate before pulling me out of the cell room. “Where are you taking me?” I asked him in a hurry.“Are you taking me to
