บททั้งหมดของ Queen Luna's Revenge - The Victim or The Villain: บทที่ 31 - บทที่ 40

Out of the four council members, Elder Ulric Consalvo's betrayal cut Aakifahlynn the deepest. They had developed quite a friendship, and to see HIM there had shaken her to her core, because out of the four council members that betrayed her, he was one of them that was always polite to her, welcoming, and mostly agreeing with her.Aakifahlynn even helped his wife once, healing her from a plague-like disease that threatened to take countless lives in its wake.Well, she did not actually heal his wife. She had learned how to absorb the dark plague-like energy, but she needed to transfer it to another source, and the couple's dying pig did the trick.Aakifahlynn had used her recently acquired skill at the time and saved his wife from an ailment that would have killed her in days in her previous timeline. She saved her from sure death, and as such, Aakifahlynn definitely did not expect to see him among those on the sidelines. He was supposed to be one of the others that stayed away, and th

However, after the ball, Aakifahlynn did not want anyone looking in her direction for any reason. Not even to ask her how he seemed when SHE spoke to him. Nope, no looking in her direction.Elder Consalvo was walking alongside Elder Raul Zev, and soon enough, Elder Raul Zev had branched off, heading to Goddess alone knows where, as he was not a concern two days ago. Actually Aakifahlynn had planned for Elder Zev when she left. And by the looks of it, Elder Ulric Consalvo was heading to the washroom, so she allowed it. She did not want him to pee himself out of fear.As soon as Elder Consalvo came out of the washroom, he headed up to his apartment, which Aakifahlynn made sure he got when he wanted it. That reminder had given her the fuel she needed: "Elder Ulric Consalvo, just the elder I was looking for." Aakifahlynn’s tone was hearty. Elder Consalvo stopped in his tracks and turned to look at her with a raised, thick eyebrow. "Is that so?"Aakifahlynn smiled, and it reached her eyes

Aakifahlynn eagerly looked out on the dance floor, her nerves skyrocketing. Some council members and their significant others were still on it, dancing the night away.Elder Consalvo was off to the side, looking as if counting down the time before he had something important to do.His wife chatted away with some nobles. The other guests were busy dancing or hiding behind tree stomps, still being intimate. While others were eating appetizers or hanging by the bar.Taisiya was still there, clinging to that guy for dear life, 'interesting.' Aakifahlynn thought at the way she looked. Was she ok?She could not help but wonder if Taisiya had partaken in anything and was now experiencing symptoms. She looked unwell. Anyways, Aakifahlynn had more pressing matters. She got up and said, "Babe, you know what? I am going to get that fresh air now... I got bombarded by a few folks and barely made it to the washroom." However, it seemed her husband was staring daggers at someone, and Aakifahlynn

Aakifahlynn went through the motions for a good fifteen minutes, and once it was all said and done, her mind, heart, body, and soul were freed from the shackles of the mate bond that kept her standing still for far too long and threatened to do the same this time. She would not have it. She refused to feel this way for a man who treated her like her mate did. He killed her, and he did it in a sneaky way. The after-effects left Aakifahlynn drowsy, her eyelids heavy. She struggled to keep them open, her blue iris disappearing as they rolled back occasionally, then focused again as she battled. But it was a fight that she was losing even though she felt empty and light as a feather. Suddenly she slumped back on the seat, unable to stay up and wanting to give in to whatever it was. This sudden tiredness overwhelmed her. This process had taken every last bit of strength Aakifahlynn had left after the night that she had. And it was a sweet slumber that beckoned her.Aakifahlynn almost hit

Jairus's eyes closed as he leaned his head back on his chair and lived in that moment again, also adding to it, picturing in his mind's eye what he would do when he got her back.Jairus was irked at how Aakifahkynn had been brushing him off when all he wanted to do was live in her. But she had never brushed him off before. And there was that voice in the back of his head whispering that he was never that aggressive in his sexual approach towards her either. But he simply chose not to acknowledge it.When he got her back, he would treat her better, that's for sure ...Jairus no longer had the urge for Taisiya like he now did with his wife…"Aakifahlynn, Aakifahlynn, Aakifahlynn, that is all I hear from you... I cannot take it anymore," Taisiya had shouted and stormed out, leaving him sitting behind his desk in his study that day. Then she had been in the hospital since the night of the ball, refusing to see anyone. He allowed it. No one needed to know his intentions. The doctor said sh
