"It's done finally," Blair uttered, getting done designing Aereza's hair. Hearing her, Aereza trailed her eyes towards the mirror and finally looked at her own reflection. Her body was wrapped in that plain black gown which had a shimmering look because of the stones encrusted in it. Her dark long hair was braided and clutched in a beautiful loose bun. Two strands of her hair were bouncing on her bare face which had a natural tint on her cheeks. Her full pink lips were shimmering with a red hue because of the coloured moisturising oil Blair had applied on them. Aereza had barely ever seen herself looking like this because it was the second time she had worn such kind of luxurious clothes. First being at the time of Alexandria's mating ceremony where she had seen him for the second time. She had never cared about her looks or appearance because they never mattered to her because she believed in inner beauty rather than relying on what the world had to say about her physical appearanc

"I need to talk to you about something really very important, Darren," Aereza gripped his hand tightly. Her eyes reeked of desperation and restlessness whereas his gaze silently peered at her. Aereza knew she needed to tell him about her curse because that was the only way for them to come out of that pain of distance and indifference and this was the right time because she still didn't know what he was going to announce tonight.Aereza held his hand with both of her hands and opened her mouth to utter."It's something really very important and you need to k…." She stopped from further speaking as she witnessed him taking his hand out from her hold. "For now, nothing is more important than tonight's celebration gathering for me," he stated, staring at her blankly. She would lie if she would say that his behaviour and words didn't hurt her. They stabbed her heart like a sharp dagger.Darren was quick enough to figure out that hurt flashing in her eyes which made him take a step close

"A very huge congratulations to you for finding your mate, Darren Venzor," her words escaped from her mouth like a venom. Her serene grey eyes gazed at him who was standing in his place with a completely blank and unreadable expression on his face. Aereza turned her body language completely calm and composed because she already identified his real intentions of coming here. Their gazes remained glued with each other. "Took you long enough to accept her but ….." she paused and took a step closer to him. Darren watched the corner of her lips twitching upward into a cunning smirk as she peered at him and stood in front of him. "But you finally did and accepted her as your mate," Aereza uttered while maintaining that wicked grin on her face because she understood he was there to catch her real emotions. He wanted to see her in her vulnerable state. He wanted to find out what exactly she felt for him and that was why he had done all of this, to trigger her real emotions out. Aereza clear

Blair was walking here and there while staring at the direction of that balcony where she had sent Aereza. It was quite a while but Aereza had still not come back. Her heart was telling her to go there and check on Aereza because she was extremely worried about her but then she remembered, Aereza had requested her to leave her alone, so she didn't want to break into her privacy. Blair was in a dilemma whether to go there or not until….. "Alpha has gone there to meet her," that voice made Blair tilt her head and she caught Rowan before her. She looked here and there and noticed everyone was busy on their own in that celebration gathering. Blair sighed and looked at Rowan. Somehow after their last encounter, Blair's perspective regarding Rowan had changed completely. She was still afraid of being in his presence but now that fear was not uncomfortable, rather that fear had now started giving her the sense of security and safety from the rest of the world. "Can I ask you something?" Bla

After her encounter with Alanso, Aereza turned disturbed and painfully restless because she knew that no matter what, Darren was never going to hurt her grandmother. He knew how much she loved her and he would never go to that heartless extent to harm her. She had identified it in Alanso's body posture and tone that he was trying to manipulate her there and to find out his real intentions, she played along and made him believe that she had fallen into his trap and agreed to do whatever he had said to her but she knew how much of a disgusting person Alanso was. He could do anything to anyone for his selfish motives and she had witnessed it in the way he was staring at her and had tried to touch her. He was more poisonous than a snake and she needed to stop him before he would harm her loved ones and for that, she knew whom she needed to trust the most ... .Her Mate….the person she loved and trusted more than her own self.Finding her way clear, Aereza straight went to Darren's chamber
