When I develop consciousness about how the world turns, I already knew my biological father left my mother when she was still pregnant. And the father figure who I grew up with was not my real father. So, after my mother died, my stepfather, Hector became my guardian. We moved into the countryside and left the city as per his decision saying it would be better for me to grow up in a quiet neighborhood. At first I was adamant in mingling with others because I thought it would be hard to get attached if we ever move again. However, contrary to my worries we never moved unlike when my mother was still around which we had to constantly move due to unknown reasons.

I was busy admiring the beauty of the full moon when I heard the sound of a vehicle. I don't know who was it because the headlights were turned off. Like a sneaky thief on a dark night, it parked near the shed where the wolf cubs live which is just few meters away from our cabin. The person opened the door on the driver's seat and got off the truck. There I saw a familiar figure of a man hurriedly entered the shed. Seeing Hector acting like that, I feel intrigued. Recently, he's been acting suspicious doing things that I don't know and going out in the middle of the night. Since I have no better things to do, I thought of a great idea to ease my boredom.I silently went outside to ensure that Hector won't caught me. I purposely drape my shirt with mud before sneak in the back of the truck while Hector's still inside the shed. The wolf cubs have sensitive smell so to be safe I needed to bluff them.I hid inside the cover and waited for Hector to come out. My heart is beating so fast!

Leo pounce on a wolf who entered his range and fiercely bit it. Blood ooze from his mouth but he made sure that the wolf is still breathing before he throw it off. The remaining wolves instinctively back away while whimpering. He knocked down the group of wolves who are encircling around him until they are unconscious or lose their will to fight. Now, there are only four contenders left on the center. The other three are on a standoff. However, compared to Leo, they are not in a good shape. So, even if one of them wins, they still won't have a chance to go against their brother.Feeling the oppressive aura coming closer, they raise their head and turned to look at the huge domineering black wolf walking closer to their side.Bailey look at Leo fiercely. But the other two gave way to the black wolf after losing their will to continue the match against someone giving off a great pressure. They are clever enough to know that they don't stand a chance against him.Even before their change

I saw Flynn whimper and look like someone who is suffering from constipation. I immediately let go of his tail and the second I did he run off to his mom and hid behind her.He threw daggers while looking at me as if I just did a number on him. I swear! These guys! They already know how to speak but still doesn't voice out the things they wanted to say. How am I supposed to know what I did wrong if you don't tell me? Even if you glare at me nothing will happen!"Hahaha! Flynn, you look like someone who eat his shit! Hahaha! You look so hilarious, brother!" Bailey was so happy after witnessing what happened to his brother."You fucker! I will definitely tear your tail when I catch you!" Flynn looks like he's about to cry but Bailey still keeps on teasing him. He looked at me like it's all my fault. Leona's was contorted like someone fighting the urge to laugh out loud because Flynn is beside him. There's no helping it."I'm sorry, Flynn. You were shaking the truck violently. I sta

"Ahem! It's not what you think, dad. You know that I went around earlier, right? I met a lady on the market and she gave me these oranges...""Gave you?""I mean... she said someone paid for them. I didn't take it for free. Technically..."The girl trailed her voice off and took a peak on her sidelines."What did I told you, Ayesha. Don't---""Don't talk to strangers and don't take anything for free. They might've done something with them. There's no such thing as free meal in this world. Yes, I know! But take a look on these fruits, dad. These oranges are innocent!" Hector just sigh looking at his daughter's puffing her cheeks. He started the engine and drive again."This is the last time, young lady. No more next time." He answered sternly."Of course! Besides, it's not like I'm going outside again..."Yeah, it's probably the last time. Leo gave her until her birthday before she transfers to the packhouse. She wouldn't know what will happen to her once she goes there or she can stil
