Bella's POV"Ahhhh," I hissed as a sharp tree branch cut through my skin and clothes. I stopped running, examining my bleeding arm."There she is, catch her!" One of the men snarled and the whole rogue pack charged toward me.Fear gripped me, and I gritted my teeth, pushing forward, ignoring the sting of my injuries. In search of safety, I darted between the trees, their branches whipping past my face and it felt like even the whole forest was against me.The relentless pursuit of the rogue pack echoed behind me, their growls and snarls filling the air, the gap between us reducing with each passing second."Please, help me," I begged weakly but there was no reply whatsoever."I know you can hear me. Why aren't you helping me? Is it until I die? Until David, the rogue leader kills me? Is that what you're waiting for?" I shouted in my subconscious but she still didn't say anything.I glanced over my shoulder and caught a glimpse of David, a monstrous werewolf with fiery eyes and bared f

Bella's POVWith a gulp, I looked up to see him, the same man handsome from last night towering over me, holding me tight. The sun shining on his face made him look sexier. The way he shimmered under the sunlight, the way he stared into my eyes made my heart flutter. But the question was, how did he know where I live? How did he find me?Just as I was about to say something, someone pulled me out of his arms and yanked me with so much force, I hit the door with my back and hissed in pain."Hey Handsome, how may I help you?” Bris cupped his cheeks and asked, in a sweet tone that almost made me retch. With a swift move, he pushed her inside and she fell butt-first to the floor. "I'm here for her,” he said, coldly, not sparing Bris a glance."Who are you?" Sophia asked the man and the door and I hid myself hoping to run when he wasn't looking."Who are you? And why did you barge into my home?" Sophia roared, angrily. "Are you the one the buyer sent to pick her up?"Seeing as he didn't r

Bella's POV"You're pregnant, Luna. From what I can see, it seems you're carrying the future heir!" She said beaming with happiness. "No!" I chanted over and over again, trying to make sense of it. How can I be pregnant? Ever since I got here, I never had sex with Alpha Max, except that day when… Could it be as a result of that only night?"Shit!” I cursed inside me. How could I have let this happen? What am I going to tell Alpha Max? And the contract? Is it going to get terminated now?My heart began to thump loudly in my chest as I began to panic internally. Images of the last condition of the contract concerning pregnancy flashed in my mind and beads of sweat began to form on my forehead."Luna, you look pale and sweaty. Are you alright? If you are truly with a child, you need to take your health seriously.” the cook commented, worried. Not wanting her to add to my problems, I decided to make her think I'm sick instead. "I think I have a cold, that's why I'm pale and sweaty. To a

Bella's POV"Push her? But I didn't!" I immediately defended myself. How could he be so blind?"Don't you dare lie to me, Bella! I saw you! You missed her hand on purpose!" Alpha Max roared, cradling Jessica in his arms like a baby."I did not!” I retorted. "If anyone pushed the other, it was her," I said pointing at her. "Jessica was the one who pushed me down the stairs! C'mon, Jessica! Tell him. Did I push you?” I asked, almost angry at the way they all tried to frame me and make Jessica look like the victim."Baby, please beg Bella," Jessica cried and I was stunned. Where did the tears come from? She didn't even get hurt!"Earlier, I was feeling dizzy so I mistakenly pushed her. She must have thought I did it on purpose and taken it to heart. I'm sorry, Bella," she cried, and I stood there frozen, completely bewildered by her act. "B- but I didn't….""Shut up!” Alpha Max roared but before he could continue, the woman in his arms began to gasp for breath. "I- I c-can-t breathe…"

Bella's POVWith a deep breath, I gave her an answer. "Fine, Tiana. Tell me your plan."Tiana sat me down on her bed and then explained her plan to me, starting from how I'll leave the pack house, to where I'll go and how she'll handle Alpha Max and her best friend, Jessica. I thought about it and it seemed too good to be true. "Can you give me a few days to think about it?" I asked and she scoffed. "The offer doesn't last for long, Bella. When you're ready, it might be too late to help you," Tiana said. "Hmm," I nodded, knowing fully well I didn't want to make an irrational decision with Jessica's best friend. It could be a trap or worse. "Dinner is ready and Jessica is waiting for you," I quickly reminded her and went outside.Leaving Tiana, I went to meet Jessica, still acting as her maid as agreed. Seeing the food in Tiana's room didn't make me retch, but seeing Jessica and Alpha Max being lovey-dovey made my insides turn and heave a sigh of relief when dinner was finally over
