Rex's POVI lay on my bed, thinking of fear which concerned the welfare of my kingdom. I was the next heir to the throne. I had to come up with a solution that would benefit my clan. The Demon lord had been reborn, We had tried using our dragon's magic to protect the younger dragons, but we needed to train them Into warriors. The dragon riders too were too little to undergo training. Ten years was too little to achieve all this. " Rex, I will be right back," Drogo said, connecting to me through the kind link. I could feel the connection between us, she felt tense. " What's wrong?" I couldn't help but ask." It's the Mate's bond," She replied. I had no idea what she was talking about. I couldn't possibly ask so many questions. " Drogo, it's already midnight, stay safe. We need to be very careful" I said, giving her a go-ahead. Just like my father had advised, we need to be careful and watch carefullyDuring this time, the other Dragonlords take their dragons for a run, or should I say

Freya's POVWaking up to the warm rays of sunlight on my face, I got off the bed. I was more energetic than I had ever been. My painful ankle was gone, totally healed thanks to my wolf. I knew the healing abilities we get when we get our wolf. Recalling the pain I had undergone, I shivered in fright. Was this how painful it would get whenever I shifted? I had to visit Liam and see if he had any ideas. " What's with you and that ugly-looking man?" My wolf asked." You can't dispute the fact that he's the only one who knows something about us. And even though you don't like him, I'm sure you can't answer this question yourself. And darling, I haven't forgotten the pain you made me go through." Eva came knocking on the door " My princess, are you awake " she questioned.Hearing her voice I got up from the bed, " Just a minute,' I said in a loud tone. Walking up to the mirror, I checked my skin for hickeys but there weren't any. It had healed, and I felt relieved. I moved towards the w

Freyja’s POV"I love how strong you are," The whore said, running her hands around his waist down to his buttocks. " You're so sweet and very skilled," he replied. His words broke my heart further, I couldn't believe my eyes. I held my tears in. I wasn't going to cry out like a fool. I stood there listening to every word and every action. After he was done, he got off the bed " Put on your clothes and get the fuck out of my room. No one should see you, if anyone does, I will kill you" He commanded. "You enjoyed every moment with me, why are you driving me away so quickly?" She said, trying to drag him to bed." I shouldn't repeat myself," Rex said with a dreadful glare. His looks made her shiver in fright, she found her clothes and got dressed immediately. Rex had his back faced towards me the whole time, he still had no idea I was here. My eyes and those of the strange woman met. " And who are you?" She said, looking at me.Rex also turned towards my direction, he was shocked to see

Rex’s POVI sat on my throne, restlessness consuming me. This state of mine was very discomforting. It's just like a dream, I have failed to accept that days had passed, yet I couldn't find a trace of Freya. If only it could be a dream, I would love to wake up from it. But such dreams don't seem to last this long. I could notice some unusual sounds, My head was already making heavy beats, That could be nothing but a headache, it's something I am certain about. "She had vanished into thin air, leaving me desperate and miserable," I said to myself trying to hide my pain with my eyes fixed outside the window. "I seek your help, Father, help me," I said, turning to my father, there was nothing left to do than to seek his help. He is in every position to help out. He gave me a sharp stare as he coldly refused my request. I was out of ideas of where Freya could be, Not even a clue to discovering her whereabouts was available. There is just something I was certain about; my dad believes I de

Rex’s POVI could see myself pleading like never before. For the first time in my life, I am seeking forgiveness by force. It was quite interesting. She watched me while I explained how many regrets I had, right before her eyes, I went on my knees to show how much I had realized my wrong and was willing to take a turn but she stood in silence and wouldn't want to take a look at me. "This seems to be a grief prepared for me for a lifetime," I said as I wondered why she would return without wanting to see or talk to me after all I have been through."Freya, I promise not to repeat this mistake again. I have been through a lot. Your absence has taken a lot from me" I said without wanting to hold back in fear of not being considered. It was as though I had seen some sort of ghost who had refused to say a word to me. "Have she come to take revenge over all I cost her?" I said while wondering if she was actually a ghost who had come to hunt me down as it was impossible for me to get close
