Isabella P.O.V. It’s been a week since we met with the Coven leaders, and Selene surprised us in the conference room. The week has on one side been long and tedious with endless meetings, and phone calls for various Alpha’s - either asking to meet, swearing us allegiance on the phone, or swearing to dethrone us and make sure the world is ‘set right’. We have been taking nightly runs in our wolf forms, making sure Emerald and Fenris have some mate time, and build their bond strong. Isabella P.O.V. As I feel the ground under my feet once again, everything clears from the combined smoke from the witches, and when I look around a strange and strained sound makes me swirl around. Alex P.O.V. The room falls silent when Isabella walks out. She has a point, but I can’t help but feel a bit helpless - again. I know what I did, how I acted and the way I pushed my sister from me back then was wrong, but she is right in her assessment of me doing what I had to, to survive and not be cast out myself.
