I made my way out of the elevator and walked over to Henry’s desk. He looked up as I approached the desk, I greeted him with a small smile on my face.“Good afternoon Mr Henry, How have you been?”“Good, and how have you been, Mrs Armani?”“Henry, You know about all the details surrounding this marriage so there is no need for any formalities, please just call me Bailey”“Alright, so what brings you here Bailey?”“I came to see William, is he in?” I asked, glancing at William’s shut office door for a moment before shifting my attention back to Henry.“Yes, he is in.”“Okay thank you, Um, is he busy?” I ask.“I can't say, but no one is in there with him right now but he will be having a meeting soon.”“Ok thank you, Henry, I won’t be long,” I said before walking over to William’s office door. I took a moment to inhale and exhale before raising my hand to form a fist and knock but I stopped midway as I dropped my hand back to my side as I remembered two different scenarios, the first be

Staring at myself in the mirror, I smoothed the fabric of the satin cobalt gown catching a glimpse of the huge rock that sat on my ring finger which I seemed to have forgotten all about before now. The cowl neckline accentuated my chest area, giving my boobs a great allure. My hair was packed up in a neat chignon bun and the very low backline accentuated my neck and my spine giving me an air of a seductress. The cobalt gown rested mid-thigh and I was extremely comfortable in it, I embraced the confidence it gave me.My makeup was done to perfection as it highlighted my features and still made me look so simple at the same time. On my ear were a pair of silver earrings that also highlighted my neck. The gown was paired with the long white strappy heels and small purse Hazel had shown me earlier.“Are you ready?” Hazel asks, coming to stand behind me as I stare at myself in the mirror. She did a brilliant job doing my hair and makeup and also picking out the outfit for me. She certainly

“You’ll fit in just right Bailey, don’t fret,” Hazel said assuring me as we walked into my room.“Is that a nicer way to say I’m stuck up?” I ask jokingly and she snorts.“Not at all. You’re anything but stuck-up, I mean you will fit in, maybe not immediately cause it might seem a little awkward but you’ll also bring positive change, maybe help in broadening their horizon so it won’t only be for the wealthy.”“Yeah, maybe,” I mutter“Alright, let’s get you ready,” she says making her way into the closet while I sit on the bed waiting for what outfit she picks out for me to wear to this gathering knowing fully well she’ll pick something nice.We spent the next three hours going through basic etiquette lessons and also what to do while having tea. It was a whole thing. Once we were done with that, I put on the pastel pink colored A-line gown that stopped a few inches above my knee and had long puffy sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. The gown was paired with a white stiletto heel, pearl

Mario walked out of the patio doors with a tray in hand containing what I assume to be the snacks he said he was going to get since I couldn’t see the contents of the tray from where I sat.He wasn’t wearing his usual chef uniform I was used to seeing him in, instead, he was wearing black jeans and a navy blue crew neck knitted sweater with its sleeves rolled to his elbow and his tattoos on display. The girls watched as he walked to where we sat and placed the tray on the table.“Hello, ladies.” He greets them before turning to me. “Here Bailey, as promised,” he said, gesturing to the snack tray.“Thank you very much.”“Yeah, I’ll be leaving now.”“Why, is it twelve already?” I ask and he nods.“Yeah, see you tomorrow,” he says, saluting with his index and middle finger before leaving. We all watched as he walked away from the pool area and back into the house through the patio doors until he was out of sight before they turned to me.“I repeat, who was that?” May ask.“My, My, he loo

I led Milan to my room and he removed his shoes and bag before climbing the bed, he jumped on the bed, euphorically.“Your bed is so bouncy like a bouncing castle.” He exclaims still jumping ecstatically but safety first, so I had to kindly remind him to be careful. “Milan, get down before you hurt yourself.” I reprimanded and he stopped immediately laying down on the bed facing the ceiling.“Sorry, I really like your bed, it’s so comfy, I want it too, “ he says and I giggle. It’s sweet that he finds my bed comfy and wants one just like it.He sits upright and gets his tablet out of his bag to use it and play games. As Milan settles down playing games on his tablet. I couldn’t help but feel a little unsure of the things I could use to entertain him here. I racked my brain in an attempt to make a mental list. I take a moment to observe him.He was such a cute kid with a contagious smile and an infectious personality. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of responsibility to ensure he had
