“Please accept my apology for the insult.” Dana spoke, her forehead wrinkled. “I have been a little jittery due to my recent experiences.” “Nothing a lunch treat can’t solve.” Jagger smiled impishly. “Okay.” Dana agreed straightforwardly. “All the people in this room, I choose the venue, your husband pays.” “I will pay. My husband is innocent.” Dana pursed her lips and added with a pout “You can only choose a venue that I can afford.” “Are you being fair?” Jagger complained. Ben was about to open his mouth to support his wife when he was shocked with her next statement. “Alright then I will be unfair. My best friend’s fiancé is the chief of military intelligence. I will just call him and tell him that you have some shady business here.” Dana threatened with a cute pout. She was anyway being accused of being unfair. “That’s right. I will tell my fiancé.” Lara piped happily. Ed “” “So, I have two choices” Jagger repeated feigning a hateful expression “Either let you treat me wi

A few hours earlier- The bride and groom were gracefully performing the first dance in their classic manner. Ben nodded towards his mates; this was the cue for everyone to join. “Wife, are you tired?” Ben asked as he stared dotingly at his beautiful bride. “Um” “How about we run away?” “Can we?” Ben didn’t answer, his lips hooked up to a devilish grin as he twirled with her towards the side door and then out. He carried her to the far end of the reception hall away from the car park and gave a loud shrill whistle followed by a low short whistle. Dana hooked her arms around Ben’s neck and peacefully cradled herself in his arms. Thunder galloped and stopped in front of them. Ben helped Dana on first and then got on. He looked back at the Rose petals that fell of the train of Dana’s dress and smiled. “Good boy, Thunder!” Ben massaged thunder’s neck before letting out a burst of two short whistles. Thunder acknowledged and started off in a canter. “Hold on tight” Ben warned before

Maria Foster was also released a month later with a warning to not approach the victim. She knew her original sentence was reduced due to Dana being soft hearted and decided in her heart to return the favor if she ever got the chance. After resting for a month, Therese decided to catch up with her previous workmates Maylin and Zara. Therese didn’t know what it was, but she could feel their resistance to meet up with her. If it was before she would have definitely ignored them but now, she couldn’t; she needed their help to get back into her previous position at A&E. They reluctantly agreed to meet up with Therese. They knew about Therese’s family situation and also knew that she was without a job. Both of them feared that she wanted to borrow money from them. “Oh my god! How long has it been?” Therese hugged them excitedly as they reached the table she had been waiting for since the past hour. “Way too long!” Maylin sighed as she sat down. “What happened to your posting in B countr

Dana walked into the box with Ben followed by Ed and Lara. “Her nerve to say I was lying.” Lara fumed. “She still doesn’t want to repent. She must have some other agenda.” Dana shook her head regretfully. “She does… Duh...” Lara made a gesture of shooting Dana on the forehead “Your husband.” “You don’t have to be rocket scientist to know that.” Lara rolled her eyes. “Didn’t you notice how she was dribbling honey once he made his entry?” “Why did you come?” Dana slapped Ben’s hands that was hugging her in annoyance and muttered “as if I don’t have enough death warrants already.” “Wife” Ben felt really wronged. Ed and Frank rubbed their noses as they tried to make their existence nonexistent. They knew the tandem effect of this … they would be shot sitting down. “Wife, I was worried.” “Hymph!” Dana pouted even though she knew she was being unfair. “I am sorry.” Ben shamelessly stuck close to Dana and rubbed his head in her neck ignoring the light bulbs. “Duk’ ‘Duk’ ‘Duk’ “Com

10 mins later, Frank and Ed sneaked into Ben’s room with Sarah and Lara in tow. Ben gestured to them to be quiet with a finger to his lips as he activated the vacuum around the bed. He gestured them to huddle on the bed, “What’s going on?” Ed asked once they were seated on the bed and the vacuum activated. “I think we have company.” “Duh! You do…” Lara rolled her eyes “Us”. Dana giggled; she couldn’t help it. Lara wasn’t wrong. Giggling is infectious. It caught on with the ladies. “Hur…hur…hur…” Ed and Frank couldn’t help joining in as they saw Ben massaging his forehead. “No more wandering on the ship without us.” Ben spoke in a flat tone as he sat back defeatedly. “No way.” Sarah frowned “I haven’t had this much fun in ages. Tomorrow we were going to go to have an exclusive, ladies only splurge.” Frank had a guilty look. In all fairness, in the last 15 years all of Sarah’s fun activities revolved around them. She didn’t have any friends who were women; She missed out on a lo
