Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Hybrids Fated Mate: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Aiden“Mum, you are not making any sense.” Halle mumbles. “How can Bella be the key?”“She’s important to him.”It had taken hours for her to be lucid. Her mutterings had made no sense. Yet Bella’s name always came up.“Why?” I ask, desperate for more information about my mate. She shakes her head. Her raven hair falls from the band in her hair and drops over her shoulders. “I don’t know. He talks about her alot.”“What does he say?”My mother stares at me blankly. She screws up her face as she thinks. “She’s important.”I frown. “You have already said that, but I need to know why she is important.”“He wants her.”I felt like we were going around in circles and not making any progress. I look over to my father who hadn’t said much since discovering my mother was pregnant. He glares back at me with his blue eyes.“Mum,” Halle whispers. “What do you remember?”My mothers eyes dance around the room. They settle on my father for just a moment before shifting to Halle.“I can’t shift.” s

Aiden‘Aiden?’ She whispers back.‘Are you okay?’ I ask, it was a stupid question, of course she wasn’t okay. She was being held hostage. But just hearing her voice gave me hope.‘I will be when Christian is dead.’ she mutters back.‘We have the house surrounded.’‘Don’t! It’s not safe here. There are more Rogues than before. An army. He’s planning something big.’‘Bella, there is no one guarding the house. I used your watch to track you down.’‘Be careful.” she mumbles. I could feel her fear. Something was wrong. ‘Just….Once again, it’s like she has fallen off the Earth. The very presence of her is wiped out. Just seconds and I had lost contact with her again.I glance at Leighton. "She's been drugged."“Again?” He asks“They don’t want me to find her.” I mutter as I glance down at her watch. She was definitely here. The tracker was moving back and forth, just like how she paced when she was frustrated. “Christian obviously knows that whatever he is giving her, wears off. He will ke

AidenI had only just managed to get away. Disappearing into the trees before they appeared.I climbed the nearest tree, following what Bella would have done. Keeping out of sight as Leighton stayed behind. He told me he would distract them. He hadn’t even put up a fight as the Rogues dragged him away, but before I escaped, he told me he would buy me time so that we could figure out where Bella really was. From the top of the tree, I watched as several Rogues file out of the house, one after the other. They nod at the Doctor who backs out of the way. I could connect to them if I wanted too, but I was more interested in their feet. Before he was dragged away, they had surrounded Leighton. Not being careful where they planted their feet. We had only just got past the final row of bombs and yet they were standing right on top of them. Unphased. Not a single explosion. It was another trick, to keep the pregnant women from straying. A mind game of Christians, to inflict more fear.As the

Bella“And Christian? What about him, you can’t just let him get away! He will keep coming. He will find a new way. He probably has already thought of it. You know that, right?” I was so angry and yet the King seemed so calm.“My men are searching the houses and the tunnel, we will find him, Bella!” The King smiles at me. He nods his head at Aiden and follows the others that are leading Leighton away.Becca quickly trots after them. Her head low and her hands shoved into her pockets. At least she didn't run.Aiden cups my face, turning it up to look at him and breaking my gaze. “Are you sure you’re okay?”I just nod. I wasn't even sure how to process what I was feeling. Anger? Happiness? Frustration? Nothing could quite describe what I was feeling.Outside the house, there are more dead Rogues. Some are decapitated, some have had their hearts ripped out. No one had noticed the fight going on outside. The King’s men were loading the hostages into multiple vans and I see how Becca volun

BellaAiden was done with the questions. He calls for the guard. As the guard appears, he drapes chains over Beccas arms again and I see how Aiden frowns.Becca is led away and back to the dungeons. She doesn’t resist. She doesn’t fight. She walks away as if she is just being escorted to another room.“Why did you frown at the chains?” I mutter“She’s just a kid, plus I told you, they are pointless.”“When I was her age, I had killed a lot of people. They are afraid she will do something.” “You were brought up differently, Bella. Her life, when it was with my parents, was much simpler. Much like Halle, they didn’t expect anything from her. She played with the other kids. She went to school and then one day she disappeared.”“You don’t want to believe it was her, but something is telling you it is.” I mutterAiden loops his arms around me from behind. He buries his nose into my neck, deeply inhaling. He sighs. “You didn’t get the answer you were looking for either, did you?”“I’m not
