It was just last week that I told Jared and that I was dating, and a part of me realized I was done keeping secrets. I decided I was going to go into the office today and talk to Glenn about my pregnancy. I was hoping he wouldn’t be upset with me for hiding it considering he was trusting me to get his foundation up and going. I had mentioned to Will about what I was doing. He was relieved. His dad knew that we were dating, and to be honest he was very excited about it too. Apparently he had been wanting Will to date and maybe think about settling down soon. Will was in his early 30s. I walked into the office. I wore a large cardigan over my dress to hide my pregnancy until I talked to Glenn. I seen Will standing by the open balcony upstairs so I knew that his dad was in the office up there. I took the elevator up and walked over to his space. After the doctor’s updated us about the completion and succession of Sarah’s first phase, I asked Will to take me home so I could nap. I found it hard some days to not take at least 30 minutes if not an hour during my day to relax and sleep. I was guessing it was all about my body doing so much extra work for the baby. Will explained to his dad that I rode with him this morning, and Glenn pretty much pushed us out of the door and told us to go eat and get some sleep. He was going to go do the same. Sarah’s next phase was going to take 14-18 hours. They actually had doctors coming in to relieve the others halfway through. We all decided to come back in about 12 hours and see if we could get an update at that point. I woke up groggy in a hospital bed. “Wait. I thought I was here for Sarah..” I thought to myself. I looked at myself. I was in a gown. I had an IV in one arm and a blood pressure cuff on the other. He grabbed my hand and gently touched my face, trying to comfort me. Jared had found a nurse and they came into the room. “Alright honey. The doctor will stop in in a little bit to explain more in detail, but you have high blood pressure. Will and I did not waste any time. The next morning we started going to open houses in the area. Considering my hefty inheritance, we really didn’t need to be approved for a mortgage.
