Luca stood outside the door, keeping an ear out for things. She knocked on the door to interrupt the conversation at any sign of trouble. “Ms. Quint, the meeting is about to start. We should get going,” Luca uttered and glanced at Robbie apologetically. “Have a good rest, Mr. Carpson. We can talk about cooperation once you’re back on your feet,” Darcy uttered while getting up to leave. Nevertheless, she placed the peeled apple on the bedside table. “I think the partnership should be a joint venture between two companies, Mr. Carpson. It is not solely my responsibility.
