"Thank you, doctor," the woman said as she stood up. Willow smiled at her and waved her bye. Once the woman left, she let out a sigh of relief and rubbed her temples. She was having a headache and it was getting the best of her. "You look a little pale. Is it the change in environment?" she looked up to see Dr. Jayden walk in. He was her colleague; a tall man with brown hair, honey brown eyes and a charming smile. He was the only friend she managed to make at the hospital while working as a part time doctor."It's nothing, I just didn't get much sleep last night," Willow told him. He chuckled and went to sit on the empty seat in front of her desk. "Were the kids hyperactive?" he asked and she shook her head. "No, they were surprisingly very obedient," she said and he laughed."I get what you mean. The same goes for my daughter, but she's never obedient to her mother," he said and Willow smiled. "She's a typical daddy's girl," she said and he nodded. He was about to say something when

"Mommy, I don't like those resins," Wave whined as she played with her spoon. Willow rolled her eyes, "Don't be a naughty girl and eat your food." Wave sighed and ate her food. Daniel was still writing in his notebook; he had finished his breakfast earlier."I look pretty in my dress, don't I?" Wave asked her mother. "It's called a uniform, sweetie," Willow corrected as she handed her a napkin to wipe her mouth. "What? Isn't it meant to be unicorn?" Wave frowned. Daniel looked at his sister and rolled his eyes. "Unicorn is an animal, Wave," he pointed out. "Oh, okay," she grinned. "Finish your food and let's take you guys to school," Willow said and went to clean up their rooms.∞"Break time!" the homeroom teacher announced and everyone exclaimed happily. Some of the kids ran out of the classroom while the others remained but went to their various friends."Hey, Daniel!" a blonde boy approached the twins. "Mark, hi," Daniel waved. Willow rolled her eyes, "Learn to shut up, it'll be very good for you." Eve scowled and pinched her arm causing her to groan. "Don't disrespect the bride, it's her day," Melanie, Eve's coworker said as she walked in."Well, she needs a brain resetting before she goes down the aisle," Willow said to her as she stood straight. Eve narrowed her eyes at her and went to sit on the bed. "You're lucky it's my wedding day, I would have kicked you with my heels," she said and Willow rolled her eyes.∞Nathan was at the bar taking a sip of his drink when Kiara approached him. It was Sunday and Willow's only day off. She was glad because she didn't have to leave the house to go anywhere. After the incident at Evelyn and Chase's wedding yesterday, she was trying to live with the embarrassment. She had switched off her phone immediately she got home and she didn't bother to switch it on up till now.Instead she laid on the couch in the living room, staring at the ceiling while listening to the soft snores of her kids that were asleep on the kids' mat she had laid on the floor. She looked at the clock to see that it was still eleven thirty and then she sighed, "It's going to be a long day."∞"So, you're telling me that I had kids I knew nothing about?" Nathan glared at his best friend. Chase nodded at him, keeping the distance between them in case he might need to make a run for it. "Basically, yeah," he said."But why didn't you tell me?" Nathan was angry now. Noah held his arm to prevent him from lashing out. "Be gentle, son," Camilla glared at her son. Nat

"Willow, you're spacing out too much," she looked up to see Jayden looking at her with a concerned look. Willow gave him an apologetic smile; she didn't even know when he walked in. "I'm sorry," she said and he shrugged before taking a seat in front of her. "What's the problem?""Nathan found out," Willow sighed and rubbed her temples. "Well, that's great. That is if he's not filing for custody," Jayden said jokingly and Willow shook her head. "I don't want the press to find out about them. I don't want to be a part of any drama going on with the elites. I love my quiet life," she mumbled and Jayden laughed."It doesn't matter. Willow. Did you guys talk about how you'll raise them together?" he asked her. She shook her head, "He asked me to meet him at his office today." Her eyes fell on her watch and they widened. "Shit, I should be on my way now," she quickly stood up."Cover for me, will you?" she asked him and he nodded with a grin. "Say hi to our baby daddy for me," he teased and

Willow didn't know how broken she was until she sat in her office and let the words from earlier sink in her head. She couldn't stop herself from crying and she knew why. She knew why that statement hurt her more than she let it. She knew why her heart broke after hearing that statement. She should have known that he would have moved on. What was she even thinking? That he would come back to her? That if she came back to him he would receive her with open arms? Was she that delusional?"You're so stupid, Willow," she sniffled and grabbed a tissue from her tissue box to wipe her cheeks. She hated how she was feeling and she knew there was nothing she could do about it. "I thought you said you moved on," she mumbled to herself and sighed. Her phone rang and she raised it to see that it was her grandma was calling. "Good afternoon, grandma," she answered the call. "I heard everything. How does he look like? Is he taller and broader?" her grandma asked making her frown. "Are you drunk p

It has been a month since Willow and her kids had moved to L.A. and everything was now going smoothly. She and Nathan had come up with the system of how they would give them equal attention. "Thank you, doc," the old man said to her with happiness and Willow grinned. "You're always welcome, Mr. Ronald," she said and turned to his granddaughter. "Don't worry, sweetheart. You'll be back on your feet in not time," she said and the little girl nodded weakly. The door opened and a nurse walked in."Yes, Doctor?" the lady said."Please, take them to the empty ward. I'll be there to set up the IV," Willow said and the nurse nodded. After attending to everything that needed attention, Willow went back to her office and let out a sigh. The past few days have been hectic for her and it was obvious she was not getting the sleep she needed. "You skipped lunch break again," she looked up to see Jayden walk in, holding a paper bag a starbucks drink. "You didn't have to do this." He rolled his eyes and placed the bag and drink on her table. "I'm sorry I'm a nice person," he said and she chuckled."Thank you," she said as she opened the paper bag to see two donuts and a chicken sandwich

Willow woke up the next morning to a familiar warmth all over her body. Her eyes fell on a pair of strong arms around her waist. She looked at the digital clock on her nightstand, it was four in the morning. She let out a sigh and a small gasp left her mouth when Nathan pulled her closer. She wasn't even wearing anything, apart from his shirt."You awake?" she heard him whisper. She nodded and sat up while he placed his head on her lap. She was surprised by his actions but it didn't mean she didn't like it. Nathan was happy she didn't push him away. "You're not going to work today?" she asked him. "I'm the boss," he said and she rolled her eyes, bringing her hand to his hair and caressing it. "I'm going to work," she said. "But it's a Saturday," Nathan pointed out and she shrugged."I only have a day off on Sundays. But I'm going late today, I want to sleep in," she said and he looked up at her. Her heart melted when she saw the emotions in his eyes. "Thank you for letting me stay,"
