Chapter 11
Both of them took six to seven shots and discussed their issues. Jessie had already become a little tipsy. The music became a little more upbeat. "Let's go dancing. This music is fantastic." As she leapt from the stool, Jessie said. She grabbed Din's hand and led him to the dance floor.Jessie felt like she was floating on cloud nine as their bodies bounced back and forth. She was in the greatest shape she'd been in years. As she approached the table, she asked, "Do you want me to show you something?" Din was perplexed."Oh no," Taylor exclaimed as she stood there watching her pal scale the table. Her pal didn't have any slacks on. Din was approached by Taylor. "You just let her go? In that condition?""She desired it. What could possibly go wrong?" he wondered.Taylor made a point. "That."Jessie took off her heels and tossed them in the crowd. She let go of her tied hair and began shaking her butt on the table."Does she always act like this when she's inebriated?" Din was the one w

Chapter 12
Jessie spent the entire night on her stomach, her head resting on the pillow. When she opened her eyes, she saw it was already morning. She sat up and used both hands to support her head. She was in the throes of a hangover. She realized she was naked when she dragged the blanket across her chest. She gasped but didn't feel any pain underneath, indicating that she hadn't had sex with anyone, so why was she naked and how did she enter the room? She had no recollection of what occurred the night before, although she had hoped it wasn't the man she had met at the hotel. He was the obnoxious man who accused her of stalking him.Jessie started looking for her things on the bed, but something shiny caught her eye as she looked at her finger. She shaved her head to be able to see the object clearly. She let out a gasp. "Please don't be real," As she stroked the ring, she spoke in hushed tones. Her heart started to beat quicker. She examined the ring and discovered that it was made of plastic

Chapter 13
"That's something we'll talk about later." Din extended his hand to Will, expecting him to hand over the keys to his automobile. Will grinned and returned the key to Din. "I'm curious as to what transpired last night between you and Jessie." He made fun of Din.Din shrugged and walked over to the driver's door. "I have a lot of work to do. We will not tell anyone about what happened last night, especially Beth. Are we on the same page?""All right, friend. Have a wonderful day ahead of you." Will grinned as Din drove away.Din recalled what had happened between him and Jessie the night before. She'd passed out while he was trying to make out with her. He was also relieved that he hadn't had any sexual relations with her.He grinned as he obtained a piece of paper from the drawer. He flipped the paper open. Jessie had agreed to the marriage after they had both attended a wedding down the street. They'd both gone for a walk outside the club. Even though Jessie was a little tipsy, she'd

Chapter 14
That morning, Jessie and Taylor had arrived home at eleven-thirty. They'd set aside their differences, and Taylor had clung to Jessie's promise. She'd made a promise to herself that she would no longer sleep with her employer or any stranger from that day forward.Jessie had always been the responsible one, taking love seriously, but what about her? That's not the case. She doesn't believe in love and isn't interested in having anything to do with it. She is constantly baffled as to why individuals fall in love if it does not last. What was the point of it all, anyway?True love existed, and the man they loved would be there for them forever or be their prince charming, according to novels and movies, but they had lied because she had seen the men Jessie ended up with. They never lasted for long. They only intended to squander her time and further damage her before leaving, just like Marco Anderson."I'll be returning to Marco's house today. I'd have to remove my possessions from his

When Jessie heard a familiar voice approaching them, she couldn't speak. Taylor's eyes were also wide with surprise as she looked at her. Jessie whispered, "Take cover."Jessie closed the door and switched out the light as Taylor dashed to the nearest bathroom. She walked into the bathroom to hide with Taylor. They'd carefully opened the door and peered out through it. Until Marco turned on the light, they couldn't see the darkness. Marco arrived home early, which was unusual.Taylor murmured, "There's a lady with him.""I can see that," Jessie observed as she continued to watch Marco enter the room. Din, on the other hand, was able to listen in on their chats because she had failed to stop the call she was on with him.Marco's expression was befuddling. "What's the matter, babe?" He was accompanied by a lady who inquired.Jessie asked Taylor, "Babe?""The door was unlocked. Before I left this morning, I was certain I had locked it. Jessie had to have been present." As h

Chapter 16
Din's arms were wrapped around Beth when his phone began to ring. He was awakened by the phone call. He cocked his head to the side, his eyes wide open. And he thought who might have called him at that hour. He didn't have a client appointment, and he wasn't expecting his sister to call him at that hour. It's most likely an emergency. Before picking up his phone from the nightstand, he gently adjusted Beth's head off his arm and placed it on the pillow.Beth whimpered quietly as she tossed and turned, eventually turning to the opposite side.Din regarded the lighted number on his screen. He was aware of it, but why had she called him at 11:30 p.m.?"Miss Walker?" Over the phone, his drowsy voice spoke. Before exiting the room to answer the phone, he got out of bed and looked at Beth. When he arrived home that night, he'd never mentioned the chat, and Beth didn't bother to ask him about it either. He was relieved that she didn't mention Jessie's name. They'd cuddled as he'd promised, a

Chapter 17
Around 8:45 a.m., Jessie received the address for Din's company. In truth, it was the beep from her phone that jolted her awake. She'd resumed her talk with Taylor and they'd eventually gotten around to arranging the room the night before when Din abruptly ended the call before she could say anything else.Taylor had advised her to visit him and at the very least hear his side of the statement before finalizing the divorce.Jessie, on the other hand, was terrified of what would happen if she went to see him. She despised the man she was now married to, and she was well aware that if they ever met again, they would fight. She reprimanded Taylor for everything that had occurred. Din Cooper would not have married her if she hadn't gone to Vegas. She sighed and pushed her hair out of her face. When she got out of bed, her feet hit the cool ground. Before going into the bathroom to clean up, she yawned and stretched. She and Taylor had gone to bed around 1:30 a.m. the night before. Marco A

"Do not refer to me like that!" Jessie screamed when he said those words.Din lowered his gaze to the woman he claimed to despise. Unlike the silver dress, she wore at the club in Vegas, the pink sweater she wore covered all of her figures. It was the first time he saw her with her hair down. He'd always seen her with her hair in a ponytail or a bun, and that's how he saw her in pictures and Vegas. He thought she was dashing and lovely. He was the kind of man that all the ladies desired, but Jessie Walker, no, Jessie Cooper, was making it difficult for him.He took a step towards her. "Why shouldn't I?" With a sweet voice, he inquired. They were both close enough. Her hair was stroked by his nose. He could only smell banana-flavored shampoo.Half of him wanted to take her hand and pin her to the door so he could kiss her once more. He'd been missing the way she tasted. The other half despised her. At least, that's what he thought.Jessie stepped back three steps from him. And she rais

"Thank you very much, Mr. Ghorsy. I can tell you're a big fan of this automobile. I'll send one of my staff to you to fill out some paperwork, and then you're free to drive away." Din got out of his chair and reached out to shake his client's hand.Mr. Ghorsy stowed the manual in his bag and took Din's hand in his, pulling them both to their feet.Din escorted his client to the entrance. "Mr. Cooper, I like you a lot. Why don't we get together for supper this weekend? I'd like you to meet Kimberly, my daughter." Mr. Ghorsy cracked a wry grin."Kimberly?" Din inquired. He remembers Kimberly as a young girl, and the last time he saw her was when they were both children."The way I see you do things indicates that you are still single and in need of a partner, so please consider it. We've known one other for a long time, and I'm one of your most important clients as well as your grandfather's friend." He chuckled once more. "You may invite her on a couple of dates and see how things go.

Williams had sent Din a message after work the next day. Din had driven over to William's bar as soon as he was finished for the day. They had both seated at the bar and spoke over drinks. Will couldn't figure out why Din wanted to take Jessie's job away from her."You know, she's a nice girl right? You should think about it." Williams's brow furrowed."I need her." Din smirked."Why?""Will, for the company. Attempt to keep up. Jessie is someone who my grandfather wants me to marry, as you are aware. We married in Las Vegas.""What?" Will's mouth dropped open."I couldn't tell you because I didn't have time, but that's not the point. I value the company above all else, and you can bet I'll go to any length to get it." He cupped his hands about his head."How about Jessie? Did you consider her feelings?" Will drank from the cup in front of him."It makes no difference. She will be compensated." Din rolled his eyes. "All I have to do now is get her to come to me and ask for help, and I
