“Da…d?” My voice was so low and shaky.“Who are you speaking about?” He asked, with a frown.“Nobody, Dad… we were speaking about the new guy that just arrived," I said, avoiding his face.“Do you think I am a fool to believe that?” He muttered, giving her a stern look.I gave Fantasia and Rain an eye signal to say something, they shook their heads.“Your Highness, she was speaking about Dante .” Rain said, having her eyes glued to the floor.“I still don't believe it,” He said, glaring at me.“Dad, we are getting late for training,” I said calmly and ran away with my friends. We didn’t stop running until we were deep into the forest. My lungs burning from being deprived of oxygen, Fantasia and Rain both exhaled.“Hola, why did you let us run?”Fantasia asked with a furrowed brow.“If we don’t run away, Dad will keep asking us the same question," I replied and they nodded slowly in agreement.“Should we go for training now?” Fantasia asked, gazing at me.“No, let's take a rest first,”

At night I got to my room, and I met Dad sitting on the bed, seeing him I already knew I was in trouble, I bowed my head down as I towards him.I can feel His eyes fixated on me and my heart raced.“You sneak out again, Hola… haven’t I warned you to stop sneaking out?” He questioned, furiously.“I’m sorry, Dad,” I muttered.“Sorry for yourself, why are you so stubborn? I know you aren’t a princess but I used to treat you like a princess… I told you that you could go out around the pack but don’t go to the forest alone” He said, glaring daggers at me.“I have grown up, I can go wherever I…”I didn’t complete my statement when a slap landed on my face, tears streamed down my face.“Dad, this is the second time you slapped me… why did you hate me so much?” I said in tears. He didn’t say anything, he glared at me and left.I wiped my tears away and climbed onto the bed. Not long after, I heard a knock on the door and I heard Finn calling me but I didn’t answer.“Hola, can you please open

Archer Pov:I turned back to see one of the eldest holding my hand, and I yanked his hand away.“Why is he here?” I wondered within myself.“Archer, as the upcoming leader of the pack, you don’t need to behave this way to your park members no matter what they have done to you,” Eldest Remus said, gazing at me.“So I should let him kill me before I take my move… Why are you even here? I already let you know I don’t want to become the leader of the pack because this is the same pack that led to my father's death. He died in the battle and now you also want me to take his step, wait… if I die, who will take care of my mother, can you guys please leave me alone” I half yelled.Everyone stared at me in shock but who cares.“Archer is not as if we wanted to force you to become the pack leader but before your father died, he already wrote a decree, saying if he died we should make his son the leader of the pack or else there should be no leader in this pack, we need to do what he says. This

Archer Pov:The Following Morning, I woke up early and headed straight to Adrian Place. When I got to his Mansion, I met him already dressed up, he was eating at the diner.“Archer, you are here already… I don’t know you will be here early” He said as he sipped the juice on the table.“Have you forgotten I race with Ryker that idiot doesn’t wanna give up” I said as I sat down on the sofa.“That’s true, I am done. Let’s go, I’m done eating” He muttered. We both left the room and headed straight to the woods, we got there and met all the people there, including the elders and Ryker’s family.“Archer, I thought you won’t show… I can see you are scared of me, why don't you give up since you know you are gonna lose this race” Ryker said, walking towards me.“Are you saying that to me or yourself, you should be the one to give up cause you know you will never win” I said and he scoffed.“Then let’s see” He uttered and turned into his wolf form.Adrian patted my shoulder and I changed into m

Archer Pov:I got back to the Mansion and met the elders sitting on the sofa, waiting patiently for me. Immediately they saw me, they all greeted me and I responded, I sat down with Elder Fridolf.“What are you doing here now?” I asked, gazing at him.“Archer, have you forgotten you became a leader? As a leader there are many things you need to take notice of, you are the strongest among everyone in this pack so you need to train those that will go for the war” Elder Adalwolf said.“Why would I train them, there should be someone that will train them, even if it should be everyone that will go for the war. What if Gebe's plan and I are not the same… he already sent us the day the war will begin. I think we should be the one to start the war before he could so that our plan can go as planned” I said and they all nodded except Elder Fridolf.“Fridolf, why don’t you agree? Do you want Gebe to kill us before we take a move? '' Elder Gonzalo said, gazing at him.“Okay, fine” Fridolf nodded
