Chapter 11
ELLE ‘The motherfucking calvary has arrived in time to beat a pack of bitches down,’ Faye sang out to me. Had I ever mentioned that I absolutely loved my wolfy? She was the best part of me and had been my strength all of these years. She was a sarcastic snark that was very wise but had an equally potent mischievous streak. We approached the front vehicle that had the Council in it. They knew that I was me, but we had to play everything by the book right now. “Explain yourself because you’re supposed to be in the custody of Luna Elle,” Thompson said. That was Ziyah’s cue to drop the glamour entirely. They played their parts perfectly. Their surprise was very believable. “He’s still in custody,” I said with a lazy smirk. I gave them a generic overview from the attack on. They were wearing wires to record everything, which was why it was imperative for it to be by the book. We did not want to give anyone room to worm their way out of this bullshit. Chloe tensed up and dropped her

Chapter 12
ZIYAH Dante had held me until my tears subsided. My heart was heavy because we did not have much time at all to prepare for what was coming. I wanted to scream and cry because anything could happen to our people, our loved ones, and ourselves. Everything that we had built. Our futures… “Are you ready to head over to Nightshade?” Dante asked me. “Not really, but delaying the inevitable won’t be beneficial,” I said, sighing. I went to bend over and put my shoes on, but Dante beat me to it. He knelt down and slid them on for me. That brought a smile to my face. My mate always took care of me even in the small things like this. He stood up and pulled me up as well. We would be driving over since we had additional people coming too. This required all of our leadership. Dante’s parents would be overseeing things in our stead today. My family would also be in attendance. It was sort of imperative that they knew everything. One good thing was that the gods had mentioned how the other Pro

Chapter 13
DANTE What in the fuck was happening right now? We were all watching as markings, writing, appeared all over Imeela’s skin. Janina and Hesthes walked closer to her, examining what they saw. There seemed to be some recognition of whatever it was. “This is a very old dialect,” Hesthes said, tilting her head to get a better angel. “It’s a protective incantation from Hecate herself.” “It’s also a power amplification. ‘When my phoenix rises, its blue flames will vanquish’ is what this part says,” Janina added. My eyes tracked up to the mark that sat upon her neck. A blue phoenix. Holy fucking shit. This was the woman that Hecate had chosen as her warrior. There was absolutely no doubt that Imeela would be one hell of a warrior. She had to be after everything that she had already survived in life. Ten years on the run, four of them completely alone, and fighting for survival day in and fucking day out. My eyes looked over at Jackson, noticing the rose on his neck. Double holy fucking

DANTE I blinked against the bright sunlight and looked around in confusion. I was definitely not in fucking Kansas anymore, so where was the yellow brick road to figure out where in the fuck I was? “Overwhelming, right?” Ziyah asked from behind me. I whirled around and saw her leaning against a post. Her eyes sparkled with amusement, matching the smirk that tipped her lips upwards. “Sure. We’ll go with that. Where the fuck are we?” I asked her. She sauntered up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me down for a kiss. It was soft and sweet, laced with the love that was coursing through her. “This is the Godly Realm. This particular one is the Fae one. I’m not certain why we were both pulled here, but it should be entertaining,” she told me with a waggle of her eyebrows. Fucking right it would be. I thoroughly enjoyed the memory that she shared from her experience here, and I could not wait to experience it for myself. Ziyah laced her arm through mine as she began t

Chapter 15
ZIYAH I sensed it the moment that the doors opened. The scent hit me hard enough that I would have stumbled if I had not been sitting down. It was just like Dante’s but had a woodsy aspect added to it. My eyes met his, and I knew. I just knew… No. This could not be happening. I had two mates. I had my Dante and my Byron. They were the only ones that I would ever accept. The only ones that I would ever love. They were my everything, and I would never hurt them. The man’s eyes were glued to mine as he walked towards me. I did not care if there was a pull, a draw, or an initial attraction. How could this be happening? Why the fuck was this happening? He smiled brightly at me, but I felt like I was going to puke. I did not even know how to reject someone, but I needed to reject whoever he was. “No,” I whispered and put my hand up to stop him. The man’s smile fell, and I immediately felt a pang of guilt, but I could not be sucked into those emotions. “I’m sorry, but I have two amaz

ELLE “Tayoh and Dayoh are coming!” I told my boys. Their bright smiles and clapping hands showed just how excited they were. Uncle Dante and Aunty Ziyah were their favorites and always loved seeing them. I was not certain what they needed to come talk to us about, but they had said it was important. Part of me was concerned because there were many serious things headed our way. They were important, and much of it was dangerous. A knock on the door revealed Ansley, Gabriel, and their handsome little man. Axel took after Gabriel, so he would probably be a little heartbreaker as he grew up. I knew that my best friend would be an amazing father, and I was right. You could see how thankful he was for it every single day. He and Ansley were amazing mates and amazing parents. “Here we go, little Alphas. Your buddy Axel’s here,” Gabriel said as he put his son down where they were. “Axel!” they said together. Gabriel flashed me a proud grin. He was very proud of his godsons and made sur

Chapter 17
ELLE “I promise that you’ll be safe here. Actually, all of our Blue Crest Omegas are either in this pack or my brother’s pack next to us. We have a lot to discuss, but first I want to get you taken care of. Will you let me take you back to our packhouse?” I asked her. Sasha sat up straighter and looked around. I had no idea what her life had been like, but it could not have been easy these past few years. There were new and old bruises along her face, neck, and arms. She definitely looked starved, and there was no telling what internal injuries she might have. “Don’t I have to speak to your Alpha first?” she asked nervously. “This is part of the discussion. The tall one back there.” I pointed out my sexy mate. “Is my mate, Alpha Kade. I know that he’ll agree with bringing you back and giving you sanctuary here. He’s actually the one who helped shut Blue Crest down, got the Council involved, and didn’t even hesitate to offer all of the Omegas to come here. Now, I’m going to need you

Chapter 18
ELLE I knocked on Sasha’s door to see if she wanted to meet up with some of the previous Blue Crests. I was thinking that it might do her some good. Honestly, not everyone could understand the pasts that we had survived. It was one reason why the support groups had such a monumental impact. “Hey El – Luna,” she said, clearing her throat. “You can call me Elle just like you always have, hon. Using the title in public is fine, but when it’s just us then you can call me Elle. Connor just refuses to do so no matter how many times we tell him to. I was just wondering if you’d like to meet up with some of the people that came over from Blue Crest? We haven’t told them anything yet because that’s your decision.” Her bottom lip was wedged between her teeth as she considered her answer. After a few moments she nodded. “Fantastic. The support groups just ended, so they’ll be in the dining room where they converge to hang out afterwards,” I told her. I saw that piqued her curiosity, so I ex

Chapter 19
DANTE I woke up with an odd feeling running through me. It felt like something inside was being pulled. I looked over at the clock and it was just before six in the morning. ‘Relax,’ Byron said, but his voice sounded further away. ‘Go into the living room.’ It took some ninja skills to get out of the bed without waking Ziyah. My eyes landed on the calendar and realized what was happening. It was the full moon tonight. She had marked the calendar with excitement the day that we learned about the Fae gods’ gift to us. We had no idea how this would work except that Byron would feel a pull and had to embrace it. I employed some of my mate’s meditation techniques and relaxed. A comforting warmth spread throughout my entire body. A bright white light moved outwards from my body and turned into his outline before there was a flash of light. It was just as fucking surreal to see him like this as it was when we were in their realm. “This is so fucking strange,” I said with a chuckle. “Yo

Chapter 20
ZIYAH There were many unknowns when it came to birthing triplet hybrids from two powerful bloodlines. To be on the safe side, we had a small team dedicated to each little one. Unfortunately, there was no epidural that would work on Trelinins because of the additional healing strand. Someone should really create that. Perhaps it would be my new pet project. It sucked but not deemed worthy enough of a temper tantrum. My mates sharing their light with me would help the most. The first thing that Dezerine did was an ultrasound. Dante was holding my right hand. Byron was holding my left hand. The three of us had our attention turned to the monitor, holding our breaths until the strong heartbeats filled the room. Happy tears fell from my eyes. It was Byron this time that kissed my tears away, telling me how much he loved me and our blobs. How he was proud of the strong warrior mate that he had. His dark blue eyes held me captive. ‘Thank you Ylonte, Slyersa, and Danthali for letting him
