Chapter 51

POV SamanthaElder Summers nodded and then Dad took over."We need to search the forest. I have warriors and allies guarding the edges so I don't think that Barron got out yet. He has a group with him, one of our allies saw him leave and said that he left with at least ten warriors of his own." Dad began and we nodded."We need to move fast but quickly. No one goes alone and link with us if you find him. Don't try to take him without backup." He finished. He then split us into groups, Dad, mom, Ash and Sean in one; elder Summers, Matilda, Jules and Eddie in another. That left me with Lance, Troy, Stacy, Shimon, and Creed."That's not fair! Why are so many in my group?" I argued but Dad just sent me a look."Because I need to know that you are safe. I need both my children to be safe so that's the way it will be. Otherwise you can go back to the pack house." Dad replied coldly and I knew that there would be no changing his mind.I sighed and noddy. We all got moving but my Dad pulled

Chapter 52

POV Lance"Fuck!" Troy yelled as he took off running. We all followed him to a scene that made my heart stopped. Stacy and Samantha were standing in a circle of my father's warriors. My Dad was pointing a gun at Samantha. At my mate! Just as we ran up, he shit it and I felt myself almost break. We all watched in horror as Stacy leapt at Samantha, knocking her down.Troy roared and started attacking the warriors. The rest of us were quick to follow as we all tried to call out to Samantha and Stacy. As I beat the warrior in front of me, I saw Samantha rise and crawl towards Stacy. I snapped the warriors neck and ran to my mate. I killed another warrior that dared to get between us with ease. I reached the girls as Troy did. We looked at each other in worry and I looked down to see Samantha sobbing over Stacy."It's okay. He just got my shoulder." Stacy said."You fucking bitch! Why would you do that? I could kill you!" My sweet mate spat."I couldn't just let you die. Who would annoy T

Chapter 53

POV SamanthaCreed pulled me gently away from my father and held me close."I'm so glad that you are alright. We have to make up for lost time together now." He whispered and I nodded."Thank you, creed." I said and he looked down at me in confusion."For what, Honey?" He asked."For watching over me. For protecting me. For being my brother." I replied and his face transform into a huge grin."Oh, Sammy. You don't have to ever thank me. That's what big brothers do." He said as Troy walked over to us."Can I get in on this sibling love?" Troy asked and we smiled at him as we wrapped our arms around him."Creed, I hope you know that you now have a brother as well as a sister." Troy announced and Creed looked him over carefully for a moment."Awesome. I've always wanted a brother. Plus now we can make sure that Sam is protected no matter what." Creed replied."Crap." I muttered and everyone chuckled."Yeah, you are screwed. Now you have two overprotective brothers to bother you." Stacy

Chapter 54

This chapter contains mature scenes.POV Lance"Of course" she whispered and that's all I needed to hear.I was on top of her in a second, kissing anywhere I could reach as she moaned and wiggled underneath me. I pinned her to the bed and kissed her deeply and any hesitation left in my mind flew away. This woman was my everything and finally was able to show her. My hands roamed down to the bottom of her shirt. I pulled it up as we broke apart. She lifted her back to help me pull off the offending article if clothing. Once off, I threw it behind me and smirked down at her half naked form."You are breathtaking, baby." I moaned at the sight of her.She blushed and I groaned again, feeling my pants tighten more than I thought possible. She smiled then and reached for my shirt. I reached down and pulled it over my head before she could do anything. My shirt then went sailing after hers. She gasped as she looked me over and I felt my ego soar at the blush that got even darker on her beaut

Chapter 55

POV SamanthaSomeone knocked on our door and just like before, Lance hurried to answer it. I heard a murmur of voices that I recognized as Annie and Lance thanked her as he pulled in a book bag and two garment bags and I sat up as he closed the door."Annie brought us some clothes. She said that there's new undergarments and shoes in the bag along with some hair and makeup stuff. She offered to come help you but I didn't think that you would want her to. I can call her back if you do?" He asked."No, I'm good to do it on my own. I want to spend your last hour alive together." I teased and he rolled his eyes."Don't kid. They really might kill me." He replied but he had a smile on his face."We better get ready. We don't have much time." I said as I got up.I walked to the bathroom still naked and he eyed me hungry. I shook my head at him."Don't look at me like that. We don't have time." I said."My mate's a damn tease." He muttered as I shut the bathroom door with a laugh.I loved th
