(Marianna)I was seated in the bathroom with my eyes closed as I tried to steady my breathing. My entire body was shaking in fear and disbelief. My mind raced with questions I couldn't get the answers for. Why was Margot keeping tabs on me? Does this mean I wasn't just randomly taken? Does this mean I was targeted and kidnapped? and most of all how did she get her hands on that picture? That picture was a past I had let go of a long time ago, a past that had gone up in flames so how did she get it? Why was she with it? Only one name popped up in my head Lorenzo. He was the only one who could have ordered Margot to do this, she couldn't have done it on her own. But why? I could feel my heart pounding so hard like it was going to pop out of my chest. (Mariana)It was another day to be overworked in this depressing club. I stifled a yawn as I mopped the floor. I hadn't been able to sleep because of what I saw in Margot's office. I had nightmares, the bad ones that I thought had been over years ago but seeing that picture revived them again. My thoughts were scrambled with so many questions that I didn't have answers to and I didn't know how I could get them. I couldn't ask Lorenzo, I don't know how he would react if he found out that I knew about him keeping tabs on me. There was no one else I could talk to about it, not Samantha or Janet. "Damn,you look like shit." Janet said. She was on cleaning duty with me today which was kind of rare because we were hardly paired up together. I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable by her presence. ( Mariana)I laid on the bed wide awake. I couldn't sleep, I tried to but I couldn't with all the voices in my head. The room was dark and silent and all I could hear were Lorenzo's light snores. He had is arm wrapped around my waist and his face buried in the crook of my neck. He was fast asleep,completely oblivious to the turmoil that was going on inside my head. I closed my eyes and tried to focus on my breathing but my thoughts kept racing. I don't know what had happened last night.When he asked me what was wrong, I was so afraid to talk to him, to tell him what I had found out because I didn't know how he would react. But most of all I didn't want to accept it. Before i had arrived at his house I had planned all what I would say, I had planned how I would have gotten answers from him even if it was going to lead to an arguement.
