Days were gloomy after that drama. Renata lost her joy and charm. She stopped talking to almost everyone. She would reply in simple yes and no and won’t talk without any reason. She didn’t say a word when Angela ripped into her for losing the Venturi campaign. Michelangelo just called up Angela and pulled his project. He said Renata was not suitable for him and hence Athanasius was not suitable for him. Angela was extremely angry at her. Because of her, the company lost Yoshiro’s and Michelangelo’s business. But Renata didn’t mind. She was almost dead inside. The way Michelangelo treated her, her will to be happy died. She didn’t know how to smile or laugh anymore. It was not like she cried every time, she even forgot how to cry. It was like someone pulled her soul out of her body and crushed it. She would go to her office and then come home but not speak to anyone. The girls were getting worried about her. She also had stopped eating. After much pestering from the girls, she would

“What?” shouted Severino. He was shocked that Narciso would do such a thing. “Michel!” “What proof is there that it was Narciso? And that he is taking Renata to auction her?” snapped Michelangelo. “He told us. He told us everything,” pleaded Sameeksha. “Please, save her. Please!” “We have to help her, Michel!” said Severino. “No one can escape the auction ring,” barked Michelangelo. “You can help her. I am begging here, please save her,” begged Hazel. Michelangelo lowered himself to Hazel’s level, grabbed Hazel’s hair and made her look at him. He could see the worry and fear in her eyes. “Just this once! For you! Because you pleaded like a beggar. Remember that! I will buy her, and I will make her my slave, my Odal,” he chided. “What?” shouted everyone present there. “No! no! no! I didn’t mean that. Please! Please!” Hazel kept shouting but Michelangelo signalled Severino and his posse, and they moved out of his luxurious house. “Throw them out and never let any of those four gi

“What have we done? What have we done?” sobbed Hazel. “He was the only one who could have helped her. We didn’t know he would buy her and make her slave,” said Sameeksha, crying. “He said he loved her. What the hell happened to him?” asked Ambrosia. She was a silent crier. Tears were falling down her eyes, but she was not sobbing just sniffling occasionally. “Question is was he successful in saving her? Where is she? Is she alright? We all saw Narciso drugging her. What was in that?” asked Valentina. “Should we ask Severino? He was at least on our side,” said Ambrosia. “But what if Michel is with him? He won’t be able to pick up the call,” said Hazel. “It won’t hurt to try,” said Sameeksha. “Call him,” she ordered. Ambrosia took out her phone and dialled his number. The phone kept ringing, but he didn’t pick up. She called again and again he didn’t pick up. “Nothing!” Ambrosia shook her head in no, tears kept flowing down her face. “What are we going to do? You heard him, we a

So much happened while Renata was sleeping. She was kidnapped, sold, bought, her friends were threatened and arrested. She had no idea what was happening in the world while she slept peacefully. Now she was a slave, she was in Venturi Mansion. She was in the house of a person who hated her.It was around midday when she slightly opened her eyes. Her whole body was aching. Her head was ready to explode. She knew she hadn’t drunk yesterday, so why was she feeling a hangover? Her bed felt strange to her. It was slightly softer today. Even the sheets felt different. Was it because of a hangover? She tried opening her eyes but the sharp light from outside made her shut her eyes immediately. She rubbed her temple to ease the pain and tried opening her eyes again. A sharp pain stopped her from doing that. She then remembered how Michelangelo treated her. What was the point of waking up? She didn’t want to do anything, just lie down. She sighed and kept her eyes cl

The whole of SMS was now buzzing with the success of Michelangelo. He was following all the rules and gaining points after points in the game of nominations. The latest points were for buying an Odal. Now he truly was a member of SMS.Tikhon thought Yoshiro would win the nominations, but it was Michelangelo who was getting close. All he had to do was increase his kill count. Others had committed a lot of murders while Michelangelo only committed four. He needed to kill more people. At least now Tikhon knew that Michelangelo was capable of killing.Renata was now living in Michelangelo’s house. She was not allowed to contact anyone. She had no phone, she was not allowed outside. Michelangelo made Severino write a leave of absence and send that to Renata’s office. Sending a resignation letter would have caused chaos. Her employer would have wanted to talk to her. So, Michelangelo decided that they would ask for leave and then slowly would send the letter of r
