Alpha's Regret: Howling For A Second Chance のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 11 - チャプター 20

CHLOE’S POV“What! That’s so terrible! I exclaimed as I watched her break down in tears as she shared with me her family story.“That’s the major reason I don't like talking about my family. Most times, people think I'm the one framing up the story, but that’s just the hard truth. They didn’t abide by the rules in the woods, and all of them got killed, and I'm the only living one out of my family. So, when I tell you to be careful in the woods, you just have to abide by it.” She spoke as she warned me intensively.“I don’t know the right words to say to you, but I strongly believe that you are a strong person, and I can't wait for you to take revenge on those who killed your family.”“That was the same reason I rescued you from them last night. They wanted to devour you and make you their last supper meal, but I rescued you.”The revelation sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't help but replay the events of the previous night in my mind. Unaware of the imminent danger, I had narr

SCOTT POV“What are you doing here? How dare you come into this apartment and act as if everything is alright?” I questioned her while trying to sound defensive.“You didn’t even welcome me by telling me to come inside. You just stood there as I stood outside, bombarding me with unnecessary questions. Is that how you welcome your guests into your home?”I laughed out loud while watching her spit out guts from her mouth.“Who told you that you were welcome here,Mendy? Is it after you betrayed your little sister or after you betrayed Grandma Trust? Wait for a second! Who told you that you are even a part of this family?” I spoke to her in a rude tone. without being scared that she was my older sister.“Do I actually need anyone’s validation before I enter my father’s house? Do you think I came to banter words with you, weakling?” She spoke as she gave me a scornful look with no iota of pity.I clenched my fists, feeling the surge of anger coursing through me. Mendy had always been the o

LIAM’S POV.“Mendy! Mendy! Where are you?’ I continuously called her out as I went outside the compound of my house. I searched the backyard to check if she was in there, but to my utmost surprise, she wasn’t there at all.I kept searching every corner of the house to check if she dropped any letters at all before heading outside of the house. I searched carefully without any limiting factor weighing me down."I hope she hasn't gone to attack Chloe. I hope she isn’t planning to do anything dangerous that could tarnish my image in the pack." I spoke to my inner child as I flooded my mind with different thoughts.I pushed the door of my sitting room open and went to go make coffee to start my day properly before I heard footsteps coming from the end of the door. I turned and saw Mendy with some luggage on her back and on her hand. From the look of things, she looked very distressed and palpable as she stood at the entrance of the door.I dropped the glass cup of coffee I had in my hands

CHLOE’S POV“Was I drunk when I told you to enter my pack?” He questioned me, turning around to look at my face.“No! Not at all. I replied with a shaky voice while trying to hide my face from his.“Then! Pack your things, that is, if you bought anything for my pack.” He ordered with a fierce voice.Without any hesitation, I followed his lead and went into his packs. As I entered, almost everyone was murmuring with their fellow mates and their fellow people in the packs, wondering who I was.“Who is she? What exactly is she doing in this pack?” One of the wolves spoke in a lower tone as she looked at me with a disgusted look.“What if she is the one betrothed to Alpha Jax? Or, what if she wants to come and snatch our one and only handsome Alpha Jax away from us?” Another one spoke, as she was scared of losing her crush to another woman.Ignoring the speculative glances and whispers, I focused on the task at hand—packing my belongings. The small room assigned to me felt both foreign an

LIAM POV“Listen to me, Mendy; Chloe has no choice but to come back to her pack. Don’t you know that we are the ones that treat her like family?" I said this to her while trying to make her smile a bit."But what if..."I made use of my hands to block the remaining words that were about to come out of her mouth. I sealed it with a kiss and looked into her eyes.“Mendy, there is no what-if. I am Liam, and I know the tactics I’ll use on Chloe to bring her back. You don’t have to be bothered about that at all.” I assured her as I sealed her lips again with a soft kiss.I packed her bags and luggage as I took her upstairs to our room. We spent our evening downstairs, talking about how she can make amends with her sister, while I was engrossed with the activities of tomorrow, looking for Chloe in the May Hill Pack. The evening was so warm that I and Mendy didn’t make out at all. We got carried away with our sweet cuddles. With the little information I have gathered from my little stay and the r
