On the run III

Jane Something churned in my stomach as I awoke and ran to my feet to throw up. I did it over and over again until I could not feel anything in my stomach. It was morning, the scent of coming rain and vomit being the scent which greeted me. I cleaned my mouth with the back of my hand, seeing that the reason for my unusual behavior had to be from the rat I had eaten the other night. I felt my stomach was full as I walked to the little stream which had fishes in it. Why didn’t I think of catching one of these? Instead I had to go for rats. I caught a fish but just then I found a brown bear growing towards me. Shit! This was the first thing that greeted me this morning. Was it always like this in the wild? It seemed like everything was trying to kill me. I couldn’t find any peace in this place.

On the run IV

Jane  This was going to be another tough fight, one I didn’t know if I would win. I raised my hand to show that I didn’t mean any harm as I got out of the cave. My clothes had already torn from too much wear and tear so I had turned it into an underwear to cover my private parts, however my stomach protruded with a bulge I didn’t like. With this stomach, I felt heavy and slower. With this amount of rogues, I was sure I would lose whatever fight I would have with them. “You killed our people and used their heads as guard keeps,” a male rogue stepped forward and spoke with a strange thick accent like he was struggling to talk. “We do not accept that and we will kill you.” I sighed. I was going to break my no speaking rule since this was something which could save my life. “Please,”

On the run V

Jane I pushed my body up just in time to evade his slash but not without having a little tear in the base of my throat. It was only skin deep and nothing serious so I didn’t bother myself with fighting back. I was trying to get away from him. “Now you die!” he yelled, raising his sword to the skies and bringing it down, but it shattered to pieces. I looked behind him and found the witch still lying on the ground bleeding but using her powers to reform the shattered sword pieces into a sword outside his grip. With a flick of her wrist, she sent the sword flying through the rogue’s head as he dropped to the ground dead. She fell back to the ground exhausted and I did the same too, hearing the sheep bleating on the field. I stood up to slowly walk to the woman as I bled profusely from my privates.

The witch

Jane “Forgive me,” I said. “But I’ve had a very rough couple of months and I don’t think trust is what I can give out right now.” “I understand,” she sighed. Pulling up a chair to the edge of the tub, she sat and crossed her legs while I drank in her features. Her hair was white complimenting her narrow eyes and thin lips. She wasn’t wrinkled as old women were but she was graceful in the way she aged. Her fingers had around four rings spread out evenly on each hand. There was not much to look at seeing as her clothes consisted of a grey robe and a scarf on her neck. “I knew your parents,” she caught me off guard with that as I looked at her in shock. “What?” was all I could muster. “Yes,” she smiled. “Your par

The witch II

Jane  She stood to her feet, walking around the bathroom with her hands wringing together. She looked worried and angry at the same time.  “Your uncle hated us for what the Luna did to him, rejecting his advances and he deemed us all to be terrible creatures. Personally I knew the reason for our banishment but people didn’t.  “Instead he tried to brainwash the pack by saying that werewolves and witches were not allowed to be together. The pack surprisingly believed his story. I was appalled but there was nothing I could do. So I packed up with my people and we left for the woods and the valleys. “We were banished and any of us seen defying the laws of the land were killed or tortured to death.” “Why didn’t you take me with you?” “By law he’s the one to care for you

Sullivan

Jane She still had a confused look on her face. She didn’t understand me one bit but who could blame her? I was using a movie example to make sure I was not being brought out into the fields to be trained like some kind of shaolin monk. “So is this what it’s like? Is that what’s going to happen here?” I asked again just as the woman shrugged. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. And no, I can’t magically help you gain magical powers, I am not God. All I can do for you is help you train with it but right now, you don’t have those powers.” “So why are we here then?” “It’s getting late and it might rain. I just need help herding the sheep into the pen, that’s it.” “Oh,” was all I could say before helping her herd the creatures into

Missing Jane

Sinclair I had vowed never to love anyone no matter who the person was until Jane arrived and changed my mind. I met her and my cold heart suddenly started to feel things again. I fought against it so hard that I could feel my insides bleeding but I finally lost to my emotions seeing as I was not strong enough to go against what I had inside. I tried again and again to squash the growing feelings for the woman and kept the relationship between us to be purely business since she was only in my pack to give me a child.  I even ignored the bond I could feel and distanced myself when the rumors started to circulate about her hoping it would stop my feelings for her from growing but it only got worse. At meetings while I would be having this internal struggle and strife on what I would do next, I would feel the elders and the judges knowing that something was wrong.

Missing Jane II

Sinclair I got back home after failing to find her and I vowed to find her and treat her right. I sent out more and more scouts to scatter through the lands and the hilly areas, valleys included to find her and return her to me. They always came back with negative reports and each time they returned without news, my wolf would get mad and angry itching to kill something. During this period, Victoria tried to be in my good graces but I didn’t want her, I had who I wanted and she was who I was craving. “Baby, you shouldn’t bother about her. She’s gone. Shouldn’t you focus on your mate?” she told me that night while we ate dinner and I instantly lost my appetite. My anger got the better of me causing me to flip the large table before blitzing into her with my hands gripping her throat. “Brother, stop

In the coven I

JaneMy time in the coven had been a good one. I had learned how to use my werewolf powers to the fullest extent and I was trying to use my magical powers but there was nothing coming forth.I was still having the block which was difficult to go through.I could not access the magical powers within me as Martha had said to me. But I still trained with her to get myself stronger each time. She also helped me with my pregnancy and gave me tips on how to care for myself on my own. This was not needed seeing as I was staying with her indefinitely and had no plans of going back to the pack. Even if I did want to go back, I doubted I would be able to find my way back to the pack.We lived for a very long time in peace before she decided that it was time to introduce me to the rest of the coven.I had learned a lot about the way of the witches that I didn’t see myself as anything different.I saw myself as a warrior who was here to live with them and like them. When she told me that, I felt

In the coven II

Jane“I don’t want to have anything to do with you or your lineage anymore,” the woman went on. “I’m done with you all.”“But my leader,” said Martha, intervening for me. “You cannot stand against her for the sins of her parents. It was not her fault.”“It might not be her fault but her parents didn’t make that easier for any of us in this room. Have you forgotten how difficult it was to start over? Werewolves are a chaos machine. The minute you bring one, another follows, and another, until the entire pack is overrun with them.“They are like diseases but worse. At least there is a cure for diseases. Give me a cure for werewolves.”Everyone murmured in agreement with her. I could not take it anymore so I turned around and started for the door.“Wait!” Martha called running to hold me back.“Let me go!” I yelled.“No, I will not. We can still work through this.”“Let her go already!” yelled the woman on the throne. “She knows the right thing to do. She is not one of us.”“She is one o
