Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha's Wild Pet: His Prisoner of Passion: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

I swallowed every memory I can swallow. I held on to every emotion I can hold on. I won’t be tempted. I won’t be seduced by the Alpha. Not now.I won’t. I won’t. I won’t. I—His lap was nothing compared to any furniture I’ve sat on, as if his lap was meant to be a seat for my very tired ass. Beta Audrey is probably already waiting for me by the kitchens’ door, ready for strike two. She very well knows that delivering food is quick and easy. But when it’s for the Alpha…one hour is the minimum time one can assume it takes. She damn well knows that. Unless she comes charging straight in the Alpha’s office, which is obviously something she wouldn’t dare.I know Beta Audrey might be sharp-tongued and steel-willed but…she cannot—will not—come face to face with the Alpha unless it's necessary. And I am not that necessary.Yet here I am. Not only am I face to face with the vicious Alpha Cain, I’m also sitting on his lap. Looking him straight in the eyes.

It took me a while to force my cheeks to stop blushing. Doing so almost made me drop one of the bowls when I hauled myself from the floor. It took me every shot of control of myself to not go back sprinting at Alpha Cain and kneel down before him as I slid him in between my lips.Going to the elevator and reaching the ground floor became harder than when I did it earlier. Even so, my head did not stop humming his name, my blood and bones awakening. Alpha Cain, Alpha Cain, Alpha Cain—He’s such an enigmatic male. A confusing, hot male. ‘Why the hell am I so into him tonight?’ My thoughts came to a halt when I reached the kitchen’s doorless archway. Thankfully, there was no Beta Audrey to greet me.“So how’s the Alpha?” Samantha did not waste time in asking for the details. I don’t know how her station is now assigned beside mine but...I’m thankful for it. At least from now on, I’m not going to talk to myself all the time. “Fine, as always.”

I woke up panting. Probably even screaming and thrashing hard. It wasn’t a nightmare. But it was enough to make cold sweats drip from my face. Enough to realize my throat dried up. The guard outside yelled something at me, and then I heard a growl of warning and a fist pounding on my prison-room’s doors. “Silence!” I only answered with silence as well. Judging by their guttural voices, it’s still dark outside. Their voices only lighten when the sun brightens the world outside, that’s so far I’ve noticed. “Fuck.” I wiped the sweat from my brow, my other hand on my chest. The sheer size of him remained in my head. Invading in my dreams, in my vision. Even when I close my eyes. Even when I open my eyes.“What in the Moon Goddess’ name is happening to me?!”My eyes darted to the farthest corner, where the Alpha drifted to me in a phantom wind. And kissed me. Passionately.I shook my head, hoping that everything in my dream would eventually disa

Although being an Alpha’s Pet—and an Alpha’s Pet candidate—is technically his private and personal whore, the people made no sound about it.Either because they don’t want to disappoint the Alpha or perhaps there is more to being an Alpha’s Pet than serving him in bed and escorting him to whatever revelry he indulges himself to.Either way, I’m my usual self: a messy ray of sunshine with a smile that can summon thunderstorms. And I’m also wearing my usual shade of gray dress but a more provoking kind of attire. Beta Audrey lent me it. She basically can’t say no since it’s the Alpha that knocked on her apartment door and demanded. I also paid no heed as the Beta glared at me the entire time I changed in her room. Alpha Cain sadly tossed the clothes I was wearing to the open fireplace before running an eye all over me and this gray dress.I flashed a ‘too-sweet to be casual’ kind of smile to every passer-by. The streets are already packed up with people, stores and restaurants running t

“Excuse me?!” The words tumbled out of me even before I could blink. “How do you think I eat? Using my feet?!” The Alpha choke on his coffee, spluttering some on the table and on his white three-fourth long sleeve. His hair was neatly combed to the side; his beard was shaved, though a few can still be seen. His sun-kissed skin was slightly pale with the clear glass roof above us. “You never fail to make me laugh,” his voice was stern and cold. One may think he’s not joking, that he’s sentencing me to death.Thankfully for me, I just jerked a chin to him, to his no-longer-white sleeves. “Next time, I’ll make sure it’s not just coffee.”His lips curved inward, his eyes darkening. He clicked his tongue and said, “I did tell you that you have laundry duties today.”Before I could huff a reply, he unbuttoned the dirty white apparel and tore it away from his body. And then he shoved it right to my face, to my gaping mouth.“You—”I swallowed the urge to not look at h
