Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha's Wild Pet: His Prisoner of Passion: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 35

“So you do have a son? Or a daughter perhaps?” I pressed on, hoping to push the Alpha in telling me more about this beautiful mess I gladly put myself into. Hoping to jump right in the ocean of madness and be drowned by the Alpha. “No.” A tone of finality laced his voice. The people paused to glance at us, but they resumed their own businesses in a heartbeat later. “I do not have a child nor do I desire to have one.” Silence spanned between us again, but his voice somehow indicates he wants to say more. “Not until I meet my mate.” I was about to focus on my eating again when he spoke. “I always look forward to the Mating Moon every month. You see, there are three ways a wolf can find our mate: one is at first sight like my father and mother, two is during the Mating Moon in which the full moon guides us and shows us our mate.” I braced myself, holding tightly to my utensils that I thought I’d crushed them. “And the third?” “Is that dur

I shot him a mild glare. “Can you blame me if I ate with a mess earlier? And who told you that if an Omega ate like it’s her last meal is also messy in her chores?”The Alpha narrowed her eyes, somewhat surprised and in disbelief.“Your actions will say otherwise after I checked your work.”I swallowed. He’s challenging me.And pressuring me.For Omegas, we’re already bombarded by tasks and chores the moment we already learned to walk. My childhood (and most of Omegas’ childhoods) is more of a free trial to eternal damnation of being a laundress, a cook, a household maid, and many more.“I’ll be in my library. Feel free to look around for a minute or two. The broom closet is under the second stairs, not the grand staircase. The laundry room is two levels below.”Then the Alpha Cain vanished, walking away from my sight and bringing his air of arrogance with him.Just when I’m sure he’s no longer around, I yelped in excitement and punched the air repeatedly while keeping my joyous voice

“No,” I told myself loudly, gulping down my panic. “It’s too early for the judgment.” But my curiosity reached greater heights when I stared at it. It’s calling to me to read it, to at least have a glimpse of it. A wishful smile appeared on my face.I did not move for a moment. Then, I picked up the letter in a second. I did not stir. I just weighed the red letter between my fingers. And then slowly, so slowly, I opened the letter, careful not to rip it apart. As an Omega, I’ve learned how to open letters as if I’ve never opened them at all.“Alpha Cain,” I read silently, “I have received your letter asking me how to find a true mate. But truth be told, no one can find their true love unless they dare to fall in love. So the only thing I can advise you is to allow yourself to find your mate, whether it’s your fated mate or chosen mate. You will eventually find out who your true mate is if you allow yourself to find them. Who knows? Perhaps you’d be like me: my
