~Elena~ I stood in front of the little cottage staring longingly at it. I can’t even tell how I was able to find my way back to the cottage I grew up in. It was already getting dark so the labor for the day must have ended. The cold atmosphere and dark clouds overhead predicted a storming shower of rain tonight. As if to confirm its prediction quickly, it began to drizzle slightly. I shuddered as the first drop of rain came in contact with my pale skin. The intensity increased yet it wasn’t fierce enough to propel me to the front door of our cottage. I squatted down to the ground and hid my face in my palm, letting my bitter tears mix with the furious shower, forming a strange connected alliance with it. Soon, my body got weaker and began to shake violently. My teeth chattered against each other, and sometimes it would unintentionally sink into my tongue, making me cry out loud in pain. “Is someone there?” a familiar masculine voice sank into my ear and my head shot up.
