The Game He Almost Had
Lenora's Pov:The bed bounced as Remo dropped Richard carefully on it. I had summoned the courage earlier to put his clothes back on him after several temptations of running out to call Remo for help.At first it sounded like a good idea but then he had the perception that we were married, and being married for this long, we're supposed to have consummated our marriage. Which would make it awkward if I asked Remo to help with Richard's clothes and Lord knows I couldn't let anyone see him with that raging boner. He had woken up while I was putting his clothes on, which was a bit helpful because he weighed like a corpse when he passed out, and let me tell you this man is twice my size. The effects of the alcohol hadn't worn off on him but he was unusually quiet for a drunk person. We gave him water and milk to cool down the effects, after forcing him to chug a glass of milk down he collapsed back on the bed mumbling things I couldn't decipher. “I'll take it from here, Remo.” I said, d

The Game But He Left
Lenora's Pov:Morning came on as quick as a light switch and I woke up with no sign of him in the room. I called out his name not that I had anything in mind to tell him, but with expectations that he had come back to the room after last night… “Richard?” I called a couple of times more but got no reply. That was when I felt that he may have gone out and would be coming back later, or maybe he never came back to the room at all.I found my fingers going to the crook of my neck and began to feel around for a mark, I felt an almost imaginary pain around the area and couldn't help rubbing on it.I got up from bed and to the full-length mirror standing in the room, staring at my reflection in the mirror I still found my fingers unconsciously lingering on my neck. I pulled back my hair, twisting my head to check my neck for a hickey and sure enough a red spot sat on it. My fingers trailed from the hickey down to something cold that sat on my neck which I realized was the necklace he had

The Game To Be Alone
Lenora's Pov:Nausea washed over me as we flew over ten thousand feet in the air. Remo had booked a flight for us to head back after I had told him I wanted to leave the very next day.He opposed the idea of leaving very soon but I really had no interest in exploring Paris. I just wanted to leave and get some work done, I really needed to clear my mind even if it meant working myself to whatever limits I had. We'd flown first class, Richard had taken the jet and it'd take a day or two to fly it back to Paris to pick me up. I didn't have a day or two to spare.“You look like you need a paper bag.” Remo commented, noticing how pale I had turned.“What I need is the restroom,” I said through gags and unbuckled my seat belt, maneuvering my way to the restroom. I locked the door bent over the toilet seat and barfed my guts out. *********“Ma'am!” Yara exclaimed, pulling me into a bear hug. Honestly at that point all I wanted was to be carried to my room and left alone to take a very long

The Game To Rant
Lenora's Pov:For the past two days I had insisted on having my meals in my room. Yara had tried asking what had transpired between Richard and I, but in a sense, nothing really had transpired between us.A knock came on my door and Remo walked in when I asked him to. “You should stop being stubborn and go down for dinner.” He said, giving off his usual aura of indifference. “Did he send you here?” I asked, focusing on the spreadsheet I was working on. When I didn’t get a response from him, I hit the intercom button next to my bed and said, “Yara, my dinner please.” “You're only going to get him pissed.” Remo sighed, standing at the corner of my room.“Then let him be pissed, and what are you even doing here, you're not my personal maid.” “I was asked to use forceful methods if necessary.” He said, cracking his fingers and neck.“You're not going to do that.” I warned and he approached me with the intention of grabbing me like a small rabbit. “I could get you fired.” I threatened, j

The Game To Banter
Lenora's Pov:I hadn't realized how much I had missed my family until Richard made mention of going to see them. I packed more than needed, although I had strictly been told I'd be there for just a week, but my excitement said otherwise. “You're leaving again?” Yara whined as she walked in on me packing my bags. “Yes, this time I'm going to see my family.” I answered, dropping piles of clothes on the bed, which made me wonder how my clothes got this many, whilst I had originally arrived with no clothes at all.“That's interesting, you've never talked about them.” She said, dropping the tray of snacks she had brought in with her on my night stand.“Really?” I replied, shocked at the revelation. “I never realized I've never talked about them.” “I presumed you didn't have one or weren't on speaking terms with them, which is why I never asked.” She said, with a shrug. Why hadn't I brought up my family or even thought about them? Back at the brothel Marco had made us not talk to each o

The Game Got Him Hooked
Richard's Pov:I groaned as the morning sunlight stabbed through my eyelids, intensifying the throb in my temples. A stiff ache radiated through my neck as I tried to sit up on the bed I found myself on. The room spun, and a dull roar in my head drowned out the distant sounds of morning life coming into being. The room I found myself in was most definitely not the suite I had paid for. The walls, furniture and the feeling was familiar but the big question remains “How did I end up here?” I pinched my nose bridge as I tried to remember anything from the past night's events. There was only one explanation I could think of for the numb muscles, the intensified throb in my temples and my inability to recall last night’s event— I had gotten intoxicated. Blurred images began to form in my mind in a distorted order, it was hard to place them right. Squeezing my eyes shut, I tried to remember anything at all I might have done that could possibly be on the media. The distorted images and inc

The Game To Her Parents
Lenora's Pov:“Mr. Richard, don’t you think it’s time to wake her up?” I heard a little mumble over my head.My eyelids were quietly drawn open, and my eyes scanned through the environment.Wake her up. Were they talking about me?“Oh, I think she's already up.” I heard the same female voice that must have belonged to one of the female flight attendants.I instantly adjusted, raising my head at the young lady, who had a little smile on her face. I couldn’t believe I had slept off, even so peacefully, forgetting all my fears and my motion sickness.“Have we landed?” I asked and took a little glance at Richard, who had surprisingly stayed quiet."Yes, ma’am, we landed a few minutes ago.” She replied quite immediately.“You should have woken me up at least.” I sneered at Richard.“So you could bite me off?” He scoffed in response.“Seriously? Am I a wild dog or something?”“Even a wild dog would have been better.” He smirked and abruptly got on his feet, giving me a mockingly serious sta

The Game To Impress Her Folks
Lenora's Pov:I rang the doorbell, feeling nervous yet excited. After a short while, the door was sprung open, revealing a woman in her 40s. Her sapphire blue eyes squinted at the sight of me in shock, and her mouth opened in awe. It was my mother, Diane Prescott.I felt a rush of emotions as I looked at her. Even in all these years, she hasn’t aged— she still looks young, pretty, and delicate. I must confess, I had taken most of her beautiful features, especially the shape of her eyeball including the color.“Lenora!” She exclaimed excitedly, pulling me into a tight hug.“My precious daughter.” She whimpered, deepening the hug.“Mom.” I hugged her tightly, inhaling the shampoo scent from her black, curled hair. The door that was almost closed behind her was suddenly pulled open, but this time it was my father, Matthew Prescott.“Lenora?” His voice came with a sense of surprise.“Dad.” I let go of mom and ran into dad’s arms instead."We were worried when we couldn't reach you, Lenora

The Game To Impress Her Folks 2
Lenora's Pov:“I am…” Richard began and I cut him off immediately not wanting him to say the wrong thing in front of my parents.“I told you he's my boss, mom.” Mom would definitely freak out hearing that I got married to a total stranger and her reaction would be worse knowing the situation that led to the marriage. “I know, but…”“I think you should go prepare dinner, Mom, we kind of traveled on an empty stomach.” I walked over to my mom's side and pulled her up, trying to ignore her next set of questions.I gave her no room for contemplation and patted her towards the kitchen. After all, she wouldn’t leave her son-in-law on an empty stomach. We both walked over to the small kitchen. Mom grabbed the apron that was hanging across the wall, she looked like she was contemplating on something and when I asked what was wrong she replied. “Lenny, we… don't have anything here to cook.” She mumbled and I saw the look of embarrassment on her face. I had almost forgotten my old life, our

The Game To Not Get Caught
Lenora's Pov:I pulled Richard into my room and slammed the door behind me. Richard looked at me with a mixed expression but surprise and confusion was more evident. I let go of his arm when I noticed how tightly I had held it, almost like I was never going to let go of it. Clearing my throat, I locked the door and moved to the other end of the room.“I'm confused to what we're doing behind closed doors?" “Don't get ahead of yourself. It's not what you think, I’m not going to kiss you or anything.”“Well, you almost did.” Richard added, reminding me of the last few minutes. “No I did not.” I snapped, shooting him a glare. ”So, what are we doing here?” He asked, and I stood upright, folded my arms across my chest and matched his indifferent expression. “You don’t want my parents to find out I’m in a contract marriage with you, right?” I asked, and he arched his brow in confusion.“No one is supposed to know we're in a contract marriage, it says so on the contract.” He stated, tryi
